Angry at this story.  Had put it all behind me and now gritting my teeth at being reminded of this loathsome leech. Deep breath. 

I'm not even remotely concerned. 7 competitive games played, 4 wins and 2 draws. We seem to want to ignore cup games for some reason, clearly doesn't fit the agenda.
I am extremely confident we will have a good season. Not because the league is easy but because it is hard, and that's what seems to motivate this group of players this year
First season in a long time that I am absolutely convinced and confident we will have a good year. Playoffs at the very least, which is my criteria for a good season. In 7 competitive games, we've looked like we've deserved to win every single one.

Missed it tonight as out on a work do but saw result popup. Sounds like we did well.  Feeling happy and definitely not all as a result of all the Côtes du Rhône I've quaffed. COYR!

Always had an eye on Spurs as liked Hoddle, Perryman, Ardiles, Villa etc.  If I hadn't started following Derby around '76 I'd have supported them.   
And Watford as I live 30 mins from there and my best mate's family were life long ST holders, so went there a fair bit as a youth.  It's there where I was nearly lynched in the Vicarage Road stand when Gabbiadini scored the winner in 1994 when we beat them 4-3 and I was the only one to leap up and celebrate.  Ah, happy days. 

Just watched Trainwreck: Woodstock 99 on Netflix.  Shocking little docuseries, 3 episodes long.  The utter lack of acceptance from the organising is mind boggling.  Definitely worth a watch if you've not already.

Personally, I've been married 20 years this year to my best friend.  We have a 19yo doing very well at Uni, 15yo similar re. GCSEs.  All 4 of us fit n healthy.  We run our own business, have paid the mortgage off, work half a day and spend loads of time outside in the fresh air walking the dogs and doing the other things we enjoy.
I would like a bit more money (wouldn't we all!) but we made the decision to get out of the rat race a few years ago, live more frugally and start winding the business down - which might come back to bite us this winter.   But apart from that we're looking forwards to the youngest going to university in the next few years when we'll seriously think about moving to the coast.   Can't complain, doing a lot better than most.

Is it even about Derby? Probably going back to athletic

Was chatting to a mate the other week about what we'd do if we won big on the lottery.  First thing he said was "I'd get you that M2 Competition you want".  Love 'em.

@Rample Yep, get where you're coming from but as others have said, no need to panic.  Things are happening.  Barely a month ago we were on our knees, facing oblivion, no squad, no owner blah blah.  In a few short weeks we now have a very competitive team - heck with more clinical finishing Saturday we could be top of the league. LR is pretty savvy and is not going to just bring anyone in - he's made that clear.  PL teams in particular but likely Championship too, will be hanging onto players until they're sure of their own deals before finally agreeing to releasing certain players on loan.  I'm confident we'll be seeing 3+ more faces before the window is out.
