Agree - what I struggle with is all these comments saying I'd accept x points over 9-12......but for what?  Surely if we'd breached a clear rule then why all the delays?  If it were that clear the EFL would already have hit us with something.  The fact we haven't makes me think the EFL have very little over us that can legally justify a large points deduction, or any for that matter. The amount of points is moot to a degree if DCFC feel that strongly that no crime has been committed.  The EFL have been made to look complete numpties as a result of us being found not guilty, aside from, shock horror, poor communication about our accounts. Because we've made them look silly they are trying everything they can (in my opinion) to make us suffer until they feel they have retribution.  Smacks of spoilt child.
If they do sanction us with a justifiable points deduction, that is clearly backed by evidence of a breach of the rules, then we ought to have no choice but to accept it.  Right now, as painful as it is, I can understand why there is a delay as I suspect there is no clear breach and DCFC are rightly fighting it tooth and nail.

    Basically,
Companies house have Forced the Strike off (Removal as a limited company) as it's compulsory.
If it is a Voluntary Strike off (Again Removal of a limited company) it means Mel has removed it as he is retiring from the company or Liquidating the company as it is no longer needed.
So either he has refused to Submit accounts for the 2 companies or the companies have not been used for trading since the last set of submitted accounts.

BucksRam reacted to Bob The Badger in Question on getting a parking ticket
I tend to use a card but they stopped taking them in some places around here (notably Perranporth) for a few months so she started using the app and uses them a lot more than me.
I must confess I had no clue they charged a usage fee. Makes sense I guess, but thanks for the heads up.

To be fair to them @Bob The Badger, officially your wife was in the wrong, but I would still appeal on the basis of good faith, i.e. she did pay via the app and made a genuine error, (the app shows your car as in Truro at a given time therefore evidence it must have been a mistake otherwise how would she have got a ticket somewhere else? Her car can't have been in two places at once).  You then have to hope they have morals and are customer-centric, but where parking fines are concerned this is usually pretty rare as it's all about the take.
As an aside, I used to use a parking app but have stopped doing so as they often charge an "admin" fee on top of the parking amount.  Most parking machines are contactless these days anyway so I just use my phone.  I'd only use the app as a last resort.  But then in principle I don't like to pay more than I should.

Report from The72 on Kamil's performance last night:
"A solid and tidy display by the Derby County winger in what was a runaway win for Paulo Sousa’s side.
He saw a lot of the ball (3.1%) on Poland’s right flank and was accurate (81%) with his distribution, completing 22 of his 27 pass attempts.
He wasn’t afraid to take Albanian players on with the ball at his feet, winning all three of the dribbles he attempted.
He also wasn’t afraid to get stuck in with the defensive side of his game. He made three tackles, one clearance and two interceptions to break up Albania’s play.
All this bodes well for when Derby County return to Championship action with the game against West Brom on September 14th likely the first game he’ll be considered for."

Let's not forget the whole point of this forum is about providing a canvas for our opinions - we all have our own experiences, we all have our own lives, we're all different and this all results in all having our own opinions.
So the OP was making his own opinion on how things look, you've responded with your opinion - they differ.  What I always have issue with (and yes, this is my opinion hence a strong desire to comment on the post) is that because someone disagrees, why should this then elicit a more personal attack from them - I don't think that's right or fair,  especially where retorts are clearly personal and don't look at the big picture: it's not about MEplc.
    To elaborate:
Comment: Where are these minutes from the meeting? After they were submitted back to the club we haven't heard a single thing. See above comments about stupid requests
I thought this was a reasonable statement personally - again my opinion. Why the duck hold the meeting with a select few but then hobble everyone so no-one can say anything.  Absolutely pointless, so to question it is valid I think and is in no way stupid.
Comment: It's an absolute shambles. In your opinion
Nowt wrong with this - perfect response where you clearly disagree although obviously felt strongly enough to call it out BUT...
Comment: I've seen people respond to this charge be saying the EFL have it in for us. Yes they do
Is your opinion that they do have it in for us, perhaps no different to calling out the "absolute shambles" statement, i.e. an opinion?
Comment: No ticket office all tickets available online
Maybe so but does it work well? Is everyone able to afford the time, or have the technical skills to do this? Factually I think this is no hence the statement was fair
Comment: no mascots, really you are whining about this!!!!
It's important to some, if not you and is a statement of fact.  All teams have mascots so it's factually just one more thing the club is curtailing which will upset one element of the fanbase.
Comment: no roadrider so you can't organise your own transport
As I said at the top, big picture here.  Kids? Non-drivers? Disabled? Drivers who aren't confident to travel on their own? Pretty insular I'd suggest....obviously in my opinion!
Comment: no communication see multiple comments above I assume when you play poker you show all the other players your hand
I don't think anyone's asking Mel to tell us everything, none of us expect that, maybe just some of what he told a select few and then told them to shut up. Or maybe just a statement of empathy and reassurance to long suffering fans. I don't see that as unfair.
Comment: I love this club. But right now I hate everything that it has become. There is always a team the other end of the A52 you can support
A bit flippant? Why would someone support the dogs who's just declared their love of the club. When you add up everything we are seeing, and being told (or not as the case may be) I'd suggest a lot of us (me included) have a lot to hate about what the club is seemingly doing right now.  Are you telling me that you're happy with where we are and everything you're seeing? If so, I take my hat off to you.  We can only cast an opinion based on what we see - constant embargoes, missed payments, no communication or explanation - nothing that supports a view of positivism about how the club is being run.
Apologies I've rambled - I usually just smile at such posts, and leave it to other, more thick skinned members to comment, but I guess this time I felt like diving in.  Maybe just getting a speeding ticket has put me in that frame of mind!

I know, you're correct, and I keep wondering why I get myself worked up and angry - it's just football right?  But it's not is it.  It's a club we've steadfastly supported for a large proportion of our lives, an outlet to provide an escape from the stresses of life but one we now helplessly watch apparently going down the pan.  Outside looking in, there's a massive  perception it's being hugely miss-managed, embarrassingly and ineptly so.
It's the silence that gets me - the complete lack of communication with fans, who are expected, week in, week out to shell out their hard earned cash to help keep the club afloat. I don't expect a full list of reasons, I know there's NDAs and commercial discussions to protect, but at least flipping acknowledge we're here - it won't solve everything but at least it may show (to some of us) we are valued and that we exist.
Moan over.  I'm hungry - I'm going to get a taco.
