BucksRam got a reaction from DavesaRam in Alan Nixon Breaks Silence on American Billionaire Bid
Rogers: "This is a composer. German by birth, English by adoption. Best known for an oratorio published in 1741. It was called Messiah. You're bound to know his handle."
Female contestant: (presses buzzer) "Oh God, I used to have it at school... Handel's Water Music..."
Rogers: "So who's the composer?"
Female contestant: "Chopin?"
(audience shrieks in disbelief)
Rogers: (shrugs shoulders and turns to other team) "So I can offer it to you."
Male contestant: "Beethoven?"

BucksRam reacted to Ellafella in Rams vs Barnsley (A) Matchday Thread
It’s not just a must win - it’s a 6 pointer and a “season definer”. Barnsley will also believe it’s an opportunity to halt their decline.
Something has to change for us. We’ve gone stagnant. I’d be tempted to play Louie Watson to feed Kazim. Maybe 3 centre-halves and wing-backs.

BucksRam reacted to Day in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
So a rule put in place to prevent future stadium sales following the Pride Park sale, meaning Blackburn have had to sell their training ground to themselves instead recently for £16m to balance the books.
And now because of our appeal on the admin points they are looking to change that rule as well.
You watch, when Derby win again they will look at stopping clubs being awarded 3 points when they win a game ?

The only reason I can think of is you meant to come off the M40 at Beaconsfield, missed it, panicked and ended up in Wycombe.

BucksRam reacted to Cam the Ram in EFL actually want Derby to work and be sustainable
Derby - Hey, here's our accounts. By the way, we used an alternate method involving amortisation.
EFL - Hmmmmmm. It's unusual, but fine, we'll sign off on them.
*Years Later*
EFL - Lol, changed our mind, now they aren't ok.
Derby - We've sold our stadium and will add the profit to our accounts.
EFL - We don't like that, but it's not against the rules. We disagree with the valuation of the stadium however.
Derby - OK. Here's a valuation from an independent company who provide a similar figure.
EFL - Nope, we don't agree with the professionals, we'll begin disciplinary action.
Independent panel - Derby didn't do anything wrong.
EFL - Meh, what do you guys know. We will appeal with a new independent panel.
New independent panel - We believe a 100k fine is appropriate for Derby's wrongdoing.
EFL - Nah, we don't like that, let's appeal. Oh and let's also try and relegate them after the season is finished.
Derby - Hey, we've renewed Jack Marriott's contract.
EFL - OK.
*6 months later*
EFL - Changed our mind. Marriott is free to leave. And no, you can't sign anyone to replace him, Waghorn, or any of the other players who left.
*Months later*
Derby - Please, we don't have enough senior players to even field a team, just let us sign some.
EFL - *Sigh* Fine, but only 4 or 5. And no more than 4.5k a week! And if you re-sign players like Davies or Wisdom they will take up 1 of those spots.
Derby - Hey we're having some injury problems and would like to use a couple of young lads, but they'll then count as senior players. Can you be a little lenient with this?
EFL - Lol no.
I'm really relieved the EFL are trying to help us and make us work. It's really nice to know they have our back.

Yeah, this stood out for me too and I'll admit got me a bit excited we could see a start to the end of two years of stress and b/s really soon. Hoskins will be playing a bit of a clever game too with those comments to chivy up the other serious bidders so they get up to speed with where Kerchner appears to be.

BucksRam reacted to angieram in Alan Nixon Breaks Silence on American Billionaire Bid
I agree with @Kernow and @BucksRamregarding the attractiveness of a potential buyer who can get this tied up quickly.
We all know Morris thought he had buyers several times and couldn't get them over the line and we also know at least one of the other bidders was around before and still appears to be around, but not moving at pace.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush to the administrators, and if they can get a deal over the line before January, they are more likely to be able to hold on to more of our assets i.e. players.
I think all this twitter stuff is just background noise. People put far too much store by it.
