This might surprise people but I’ve been sat in the home end at Hillsborough a few times.
Never seen us lose(unlike when I’m in the away end).
On the North Stand when Bamford scored that injury time screamer,I really enjoyed it.
That was the game when it hit me how good our away support is.

Wigan did  not sell Byrne and Marshall the administrators did, that money would have been a cash deal and distributed to creditors. So not a football related debt, my OPINION fwiw is that the debt is to Peterborough for Marriott and Mel will have seen his ass as they got him back for nothing, if I was Mel which I am not nor am I his wife, I would have said Duck off to Peterborough if indeed this is where the debt is owing.

He has also been the cause of us having to deal with..5 breaches of EFL rules is it now? Putting the club in a position where it is struggling to build a squad capable of competing in this league..not supporting his manager or players in any meaningful way.. so I think he has done a lot milore than just fund the club for a few years. He has driven it into the ground..

Used to do this regular at the BBG.  It must have really annoyed the handful of travelling fans who'd actually paid to sit in the away end Ossie middle tier only to be joined by those who we're on the terrace (where you should be !)
I also recall for a few weeks running some lads appeared on the Columbo terrace and had clearly nicked an opposing fans scarf which was held up and ceremonially burnt.  One visiting, team who'd brought a few hundred and been moved to the middle tier we're livid at this and all tried to move down the seats as if they we're going to try and take them on - it was hilarious.
Always used to be a rather overweight gentleman picked out each week amongst the away following who was royally hammered, and whilst they we're the same songs each time the reaction always made me laugh.
    Happy Days

Who are you to tell people not to hang around on this thread?
Don't like the subject matter, don't hang around? Same thought process, no?
Do you what you want, its a forum for opinions. I just don't like the way you accuse others of attention seeking when, in my opinion, you are doing just that. Trolling for a reaction on a thread where emotions are high. @Ambitious didn't deserve thar trolling. Imo of course.

Yes, venting about the worst run football club in the top 2 or 3 divisions on club's said forum you've been a memeber of for years, commenting on a football club you've supported all your life.....on a thread entitled 'embarge possibly ending'  that has no sign of ending.
A forum that had a seat at the latest fan's forum that none of us know what was said.
The only narcissicm would be those telling people 'bye' who have valid concerns about their club and how disgustingly run it is. I mean, that would be attention seeking and trolling, surely? Don't agree with their opinion, fair enough. But to dismiss their opinion as dramatic or narcissicm....nah, not a fan of that. Or Mel.

To me it seems like MM is happy to have the embargo in place because people are blaming the EFL for the situation we are in which deflects attention away from himself. What is going to change when the embargo is eventually lifted because i can;t see anything. MM has said he is only going to put enough money in to keep the club ticking over and Rooney needs to use players from the academy,to me that doesn't sound like he is going to open his wallet to allow Rooney to bring free agents in. Yes he wants to sell the club which is roughly £50M in debt,is he going to pay the debt off himself or is he hoping that even if he sells the club for £1 the new owners will settle the debts which doesn't even include the ground ,why would they do that, that's not a viable proposition for prospective new owners.

Very true. And clubs like ours are also less than perfect...
I think Rooney fancies himself to handle difficult characters (having been one and having been around lots!) so he might take a chance on some of them. I quite like the excitement of taking a chance on the odd random. Some of us remember Taribo West where it was 50/50 as to whether he'd physically turn-up!

I was in the home end at Blackpool against florist in the playoff semifinal in 2010. I rang their ticket office for a seat in the home end but when I gave them my Nottinghamshire address they they said no. I told them I was a Derby season ticket holder and was trying to visit all the grounds. They rang Derby’s ticket office ( when there was actually people there answering the phone) and checked my number and sent me a ticket in the main stand where I watched wee billy suffer at the hands of DJ Campbell

Best ever view from a terrace?  Bang centre of The Kop.
No need to worry about accent, as we travelled with the Liverpool Supporters Derby Branch, and they were known to the locals, as they stood in the same place every game.
No need to worry about cheering a goal, as we lost 5-0!

Cracking view mind, for a terrace!

As I mentioned on another thread, been in the home end loads of times and even in the away end at the BBG a few times.
The one that stands out was Millwall at the Old Den. Big terracing on three sides. I am crap with dates but it would have been around the time I gat married, 87ish maybe 86. We won 1-0, I remember that much.
Millwall, more so then, was a dodge place to go. Went with a mate who was Spurs and we ended up around the halfway line in with the home fans. Anyway, as with most London grounds, as soon as I opened my gob nobody really gave a damn. Just another cockney really. Anyway we score and I blow my cover. Expected to get absolutely mullered but got exactly the opposite. Top people, had the micky taken out of me but nothing more. Never to this day have I had any problems at Millwall, even the Play Off semi. We Londerners must look after ourselves.
Went to the BBG on many occasions with the visiting London team. Went on the QPR supporters train once and ended up with them all afternoon. 3-3 I think it was, late goals. No problems then either.
BITD, my mates were all Spurs and we used to mix up where we went. Derby one week, Spurs then next. The lad I used to go to Spurs was, was a proper nutcase. Ended up in jail but that's another story. They played Palace once at the Lane and he always went in with the away supporters in the Park Lane. Would always end up in some sort of mix up.. Game over, we leave the ground and we are clocked by a load of Spurs as we leave the Park Lane.. Chewy (as we used to call him, was a unit), anyway the Spurs lot assume we are Palace (I hate Palace, Chewy was more Spurs than anyone I know) and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose down the High Road. 4 of us ended up through a butchers window, broken glass everywhere. Lucky as that we did not get decapitated.
So good and bad experiences. Be respectful and even at the most intimidating of places and you have no problem.

Been in the home end at Leeds when Sir Jake got the winner a few minutes from the end , 2013 i think , just about managed to stay sitting on my hands and keeping my mouth shut , but when Jake scored myself and 2 mates completely lost it , we were taken out by stewards in the nick of time , didnt realise Leeds hated us that much hahahaha

Was in Arsenal's North Bank with an Arsenal season ticket holder mate of mine when we drew 2 -2 and Sturridge scored a screamer. When he scored i shot up from my seat but held in my scream. Mate told me to sit down as I was getting scowls from the natives. As i did not have any 'colours on' they must have thought I was annoyed with Derby scoring. Rest of match had a stupid grin on my face. Brilliant times!?

We have already lost Knight & Buchannan in pre season & in just 5 league games CKR, Ebosele, Lawrence & Baldock picked up injuries
My point being although I like our squad, we cannot expect to play another 41 league games without needing some more strength in depth.

It’s hard to argue against anyone saying “Mel doesn’t really care anymore”. I’ve tried to defend him, but he’s currently looking like the kind of owner we used to think the like of Abramovic was… a bored rich man wanting a toy. He’s now lost commitment. Probably has a starving Christmas puppy somewhere.
