RammingStone66 reacted to Sheikh n Bake in Reclaim the club - starting with this forum
I heard the forum name has to stay that way as part of his contract with 32 Red. Rooney opted out of performance based incentives and instead opted to have a forum page named after him.

I thought there was american interest and a 'dream owner' but they were waiting to see what division we were in.
Wonder if any of them deals will potentially become live now we have survived

RammingStone66 reacted to Jubbs in Roos
So how did he keep Carson out of the team and offered a new contract? He was clearly good enough before Wembley and was good enough after.
1 "naff" game and all of a sudden he's gone terrible again? Too many of our fans are discrediting Swansea's second, it was a great goal. If Marshall was in goal for that, no eyelids would've been batted.
-
RammingStone66 reacted to Jubbs in Roos
Are we now going to pretend Marshall comes out and claims more crosses than Roos does? Roos comes out for nearly 3 times as many crosses per game than Marshall does.
Swansea wasn't a "massive error" and I'd be more worried Whittaker managed to win a header vs our 2 centre backs.
Stoke they didn't score from that.
Brentford sure he got beaten at his near post, but shouldn't have been allowed to get the shot off and difficult to see.
Cardiff I have erased that game from my memory.
Forest was not a pea roller in the slightest and he did well to recover and save.
If you're using "mistakes" that haven't even lead to goals for Roos, why aren't you keeping track of the numerous times Marshall has caused shots from his errors etc.
My whole point around Roos vs Marshall is none of them are as good as each other. They are both average championship keepers. I stick up for Roos as he gets an incredible amount of abuse because of his Wembley mistake, he gets put in an unfair spotlight where everything he does is scrutinized. The best thing for Roos to do is leave, as our toxic fanbase will always jeer when he plays and go to a club where he won't get abused like he does by our fans.

RammingStone66 got a reaction from Andicis in Wayne Rooney
No sure why we should be thankful he didn't walk off, we had Wassell who could of took over again, the results couldn't be too much worse ? if we go down and Rooney stays (which I admit is very unlikely) I imagine we would struggle badly to pay his wages and we might be praying he leaves.

RammingStone66 reacted to Black ('n' White) Sheep in Jozwiak
Like many others, I didn't get the decision to take him off today... at all! He was definitely one of our better players.
Joz could still turn out to be the best bit of business we've done in a long time... all we need is for him to play a blinder at the EUROs and someone to offer us £8-10million. Job done! (although we'd probably end up selling for a bag of peanuts anyway).

RammingStone66 reacted to JarodyDCFC in Jozwiak
Jozwiak may have been scrutinised this season for his performances but I don’t think anyone has faltered him for lack of effort, which is more than we can say for Lawrence and Waghorn. Always puts in 100% and today he was really good.

Said it before and I’ll say it again... Messi would look poo in this team.
the guy plays for Poland for Christ’s sake. Quality footballer in an awful side. And to quote @DarkFruitsRam7’that’s a hill I’ll die on’

RammingStone66 reacted to vonwright in Jozwiak
Thought he was brilliant today. Took up great positions, made theatening runs, took people on, fast direct passing. Did a real shift in defence, too, and saved us a goal. And while others jogged about and scowled at each other and looked like they thought they were too good to have to try, and hard-done-by by the universe, he played like a pro.
You can say 'yeah he does all that but no end product'. But come on: if the likes of Lawrence and Waghorn (and even CKR) did their main jobs as well as he did his, we'd have won today. You can't blame him for not doing _everything_ when some others don't seem to be doing _anything_

RammingStone66 got a reaction from Jimbo Ram in El DerbyCo
Totally agree on this. Alonso may be rich to most of us but isn't football club owner rich lol. Also his boxing career in indonesia matches up with Oktohari owning 2 boxing promotions in Indonesia. What I don't get is that Oktohari is rich but not that rich in football terms, his OSO group is reportedly worth 200million so 70 mill is a lot to blow on a money losing football club that you are denying you gave money to buy ?. I know it was originally reported as a group of Indonesian investors behind Alonso, a group would make more sense financially.

I virtually guarantee you'll watch Jozwiak tear up some game playing in a different team, and you'll just remember him being crap for us instead of wondering what we weren't doing to unlock the player we needed. It's almost a certainty he'll move on next season, and I can recognise there's a good player in there.

Deporting immigrants who break the law is a standard approach in many countries.
Angela Merkel recently voted against same-sex marriage in the German Parliament, where the ruling party are her Christian Democrats and therefore religiously influenced conservatives.
In my experience it's standard for anyone on the left to label anyone who disagrees with them "far right". It's the nature of the polarized societies we live in, driven in large part by social media algorithms.
I'll judge him as I find him.

No Limit Sports? Isn't that the Master P company? Or is it another company of a similar name?
Would be mad to have a multi-millionaire rapper in charge! Nothing would surprise me with Derby any more ?

Think it’s worth remembering the lad is only 22, moved to another country joining a team that’s struggled whilst bringing through a number of academy players.
Apply some context, not all players hit the ground running.
Maybe if we stick with him, let him settle in, not get on his back (when stadiums reopen) we’ll get to see the best of him?

We might have taken some write down already - we just have no idea.
All we can be reasonably clear on is that we will have lost whatever we paid for him over his 3 year contract...

Another potential signing to excite the fans ? can't wait until we get this one over the line.

RammingStone66 reacted to Andrew3000 in Super- fan Chan-young Lee
Just wanted to celebrate this kid who has introduced himself in the rams around the world section of this forum. Many will know of his super-quick goal clips provided on Twitter, this South Korean lad appeared recently on Rams Review Podcast (where he politely tolerated being called Lee the whole time, which is his surname/family name)
Somewhat bizzarely, he became a passionate Ram since the play-off final against QPR (must be drawn towards injustice and tragedy) and gets up at 3 or 4am to watch matches.
He also writes pieces promoting our club in South Korea. I'm not on Twitter but I'm sure many have welcomed him already. Hopefully we can reach out and help him visit Pride Park one day. I think he will feature more on ramsreview pod so a relationship is developing there. Hope the club are aware too and might assist.
