MK-Ram got a reaction from Stive Pesley in Wayne Rooney
Actually feels a little uncomfortable. Everything about that Kirchner takeover just made the end of Rooney's time here feel slimy.

Could Ryan Mason be worth a shout?
Clearly rated at Spurs and whilst his record isn't the prettiest in his spells, he has done fairly well given the position Spurs have been in both times

I don't think we could afford any current Championship or League 1 manager.
Lee Carsley (England U21) would probably be holding out for the main England job at this point. Even if he isn't chosen for that job, I doubt he would drop down to L1 level. Luke Williams (Notts County) for the long term project. Someone I could see taking us all the way to the PL. Gary Bowyer (unemployed, previously at Dundee) to build solid foundations and rebuild the link between the first team and academy Paul Cook (Chesterfield). A difference in opinion led to him being sacked at Ipswich, but he's done well everywhere else. Aaron Danks (Middlesbrough assistant manager) has been assistant for Kompany at Anderlecht, Dean Smith at Villa and now Carrick at Boro. Has also been involved with the England setup, having assisted Paul Simpson as they won the U20 World Cup in 2020, and then the U21s in 20/21. The riskiest option I've listed, but has a good contact list and I think is worth taking a risk on. Another I could see growing with the club as taking us to the PL. -

Cross our fingers and hope that the onwers of Sunderland have a collective brainfart and get rid of Mowbray.

Would have Mowbray here in a heartbeat.

Mods.
Please could we have a separate, pinned "Big Trav Says" thread with only his proclamations allowed - where he unfailingly raises the hopes of the masses and no-one has a pop even if said proclamations don't come to pass........a sort of e-pulpit.
Never met him, no idea who he is but he's brightened up my summer.

Never said it was a signing. 2 sales and Paul Warne to be replaced by former St Mirren manager Gary Teale. Good old Bob Malcolm in as assistant

MK-Ram reacted to Tombo in Drum in South Upper Block D
This may not be popular but I think the drum needs to go. I don't think it adds anything and more often than not the rhythm is completely off
Especially if the South Stand doesn't want it. The people in the South Stand may well want atmosphere but they draw the line at having a drum down their earholes for 90+ minutes.
Look at it the reverse way Nick, if South Standers generally don't want it, that's democracy. There's more to the stand than a bloke with a drum. Find another way to bolster the atmosphere

Me waiting for someone to make a ‘who’s next Derby manager’ topic as I don’t want to be the poo house to do it.

MK-Ram got a reaction from Nishfan in Is Warne living on borrowed time?
Having had a few days to think about this without passing comment, I feel like in 90% of cases the kind of interview Warne gave would mark the beginning of the end, in the other 10% you'd see a quick turnaround.
The club has been very tight lipped since DC came in but given the first two games and the comments made, for the first time I am a bit alarmed that there is nothing seemingly on the horizon, particularly with the possibility of Bird departing.
Burton will be a tough game, as all local games are. The manner in which we conduct ourselves will paint the picture of how we move forward though.

Not happy about this….
Was relying on him posting vids of the goals, as I'm on my holidays. Though that might not be a problem…
