Don't think we were ever losing £420 grand a week mate. Were it not for COVID write-offs and the loans provided through the EFL, neither of which were we allowed to claim, you'd be in the same doodoo we found ourselves in. Honestly, a Bristol fan jumping on a Derby forum to sermonise on fiscal prudence is like Attila the Hun handing out anger management advice 🙄

Can't for the life of me think why he would post this if it wasn't a teaser for his return.  
Very happy to see him back but hoping it will be part of a back 3 rather than first choice wing-back as would like to see someone with a bit more end-product going forward come in as LWB.  It will be a key position for us next season.

I want to believe this but I’m not sure I do. Bryson’s timing of runs and finishing that season were superb. I can’t say I’ve seen the same, even potential-wise, from Knight. We all know he’s got a great engine, but when will he start to use that towards assists and goals? I know playing him right back hasn’t helped.

I think Flint is done too, that’s why we shouldn’t sign him 🤔

I know it’s always being talked about but I have just spoken to someone that is definitely ITK and he says that Flint is a done deal.

Presumably Cheltenham are trying to start an auction by going public about a Charlton bid, and maybe his agent is planting the Derby story for more money for his client? FWIW Nixon says we're "in the Alfie May race".

Deserved a thread of its own really. 

My Mum's fella is a Vale fan and I go to games with him when I can and I can assure you that spell against us (which I agree he looked busy and dangerous) was very much a one-off. Nowhere near good enough from what I have seen of him and heard from other Vale fans and actually struggled to get in their team for the majority of the season. Busy and willing but no real goal threat or quality.

That final paragraph just about sums it up. Because of your strong opinions on Warne your are unable to objectively see the potential we have as a club for recruitment this summer; we’re not limited by restrictions in the way we have been previously, there’s been time and planning, we allegedly can spend a bit of money where appropriate, players looking at joining clubs at this level will likely see us as a draw over other league one sides, we’ve got good fans, facilities, stadium, a likely promotion push….but no because Warne is a bit of a cheesy character we won’t be able to sign anyone 🙄 

Hopefully Roberts would be the left side of a 3 rather then LWB.  I don't think his crossing is good enough to be our first choice wing back.

It has been announced its against stoke.  Basically a pre season game which they are labelling for forsyth testimonial. 

I am more hopeful we sign either Regan Poole or Josh Key for the RB positions or even both!
