As well as a sell on fee I'd want a cut of any loan fees received for him in the next few years. If he's as good as people say he is whichever club he goes to will be getting some pretty hefty loan fees for him while he develops. Loan fees are a nice earner for Prem clubs these days. For example, Liverpool must have made a tidy sum on loaning Harry Wilson out in the last four years (to Hull, us, Bournemouth and now Cardiff). It'd be nice to get a cut of that too, if possible.

I just can’t see any benefit to them in messing 3 clubs around like this. If the t/o does not happen, they seal a reputation that damages them in this and other sectors. 

Gary Teale and Craig Fagan being two particular highlights

He was signed as an U23 with potential to move up to first team, just like any other U23 player. Only reason there was so much publicity is because the way he left Liverpool and his connections to Gerrard. He wasn't match fit when he joined and Stretton was banging goals in for U23, so why should he have played? 
Don't get why it's "what's wrong with youth in this day and age?" when you have young players we do who are all doing themselves proud.

Announced his retirement yesterday on Instagram with a video of his best DCFC moments, felt bad for him he could have had a great career.

So they success they had in developing Jude Bellingham and the large amount the got for him and also Demari Grey was just a fluke?
Short sightedness I think, or bank the money and sell up.

I'm expecting him to move up to the U23s in the New Year, and get a few first team games under his belt once out Championship status is retained... as long as he's planning to stay with us.
He's still only 16, so has to be managed carefully. We've put a number of 16 year old into the first team over the years and they've suffered from injuries as a result (Holmes, Barnes, Bennett,etc...)

Applications are now open, membership is free, you just have to love having a striker that doesn’t end up on his arse every 5 minutes and can piggyback defenders with ease.

A lot of rusty feet on the pitch, but my goodness what an energizer bunny Ebosele is.  He will be in the main squad before too long, i should imagine.

He means when Liverpool stole him from QPR. They at least got £50m for him which was a decent sum at the time.

Kash, come on fella, you don't know what the club offered, I get the news has disappointed you greatly but for all you know we could have offered similar.
Don't buy into "rumours" as a lot of the time these ITK know jack, would you be surprised if he maybe wanted a change of scenery given what has happened over the years, I wouldn't, could sign a deal to find Cocu leaves by Christmas and he's off out on loan again. It has happened, it's just as possible that he wanted to move on, one final deal somewhere else and bow out.

But how far behind? 5 yards, 15, 50? 

Beat me to it. From what I've heard he was pretty highly rated as a coach, good move for him though, being main GK Coach of a league 1 club aged 30...can we claim to be brining young coaches through too? 

If we had a bigger squad I’m sure we would enter. As we are, we’re very stretched with just the mandatory competitions, and will see a lot of the U18s feature this season. 

I thought we entered 2 years ago. 

Can’t really blame him for taking the promotion to a first team job to be fair. Good luck to him, hopefully we’ve got someone lined up to replace him.
