Was expecting a misspelt rant about the length of our injury list tbh.

Football is a funny old game, only 1 stat counts and that is the final score.
Having said that I've had a quick look at some stats from yesterday, our xg or expected goals was a very accurate 0.97, but surprisingly that was the second highest in the division, just behind Portsmouth on 1.1 and miles ahead of Barnsley, who scored 7, on 0.58. In fact, Port Vale actually had more shots than Barnsley at 13 against 12. Our total shots were 21 with 5 on target, 8 off and 8 blocked, equal highest with Portsmouth and at least 5 attempts more than the rest of the home teams.
If only we'd put away one or more of those 3 or 4 chances in the early part of the game and not given away 2 stupid goals, we would be in a slightly better frame of mind. I'd like to think that none of our team will make a back pass as poor as that this season and likewise with our keepers making a mess of a simple cross and under no pressure.

Another good chance missed and then Fester go up the other end and score, that's football.

17 goals in 39 apps last season in this league, would suggest that he could be a decent signing.

Might not be Rhodes that messed us about? Perhaps it was Huddersfield that put the brakes on any deal and Rhodes is as miffed as we are. No idea either way.

The criticism of Warne in the transfer market is rubbish.
Can anyone name me one of his permanent signings who has been rubbish?
Thank the Lord we now have someone who does due diligence before he signs someone I.e. actually watches them playing in games, checks their character to make sure they will fit in with the rest of the team. Not prepared to pay over the odds for someone who will not improve what we already have.
Over the last 10 years the list is as long as your arm of players we have purchased for exorbitant fees (Blackman, Anya, etc etc etc), fuelled no doubt by power crazy chairmen desperate to get to the promised land. Look where it got us - just remember that horrible, sinking feeling just over 12 months ago, when our Club was about to exist no longer.
Give me Clowes, Warne and a bit of realism every time!!!!

I can't remember the full details, but weren't there 'issues' with some fans in this area, which has been alleviated by restricting further sales in those blocks? If this is the case, I can see the club's point of view and hopefully those causing the issues have already got tickets in the south stand where their behaviour is more tolerated. Any late sales in that area will be by the more 'casual' supporter who hopefully won't get too over excited and cause any disruption.🤞

Hey guys sorry not been on a lot lately but the pain been pretty bad lately so been trying to rest as much as I can before season starts but I am 100 percent I can be. So i will be in full voice come saturday. Getting behind the lads as always i do fancy our chances for coming season.
