Unlike Emma's, that was a deliberate attempt to break her opponents concentration.
Well done Emma, you given me something to smile about, after last night. A highly entertaining match from 2 players who should have great futures.

I don't mind us playing it out from the back, but we aren't playing it 'out'. We're playing it sideways and backwards far too many times and by the law of averages one or several of these passes will go astray. 2 of our 3 league and cup defeats can be directly attributed to this tactic.

Well put, in addition to that, how many potential attacks of ours were broken up by niggly cynical fouls near the half way line?
Also, how many times did I hear the commentator say after a challenge on one of our players, 'that would have been a foul last season'?

Really, agreed they didn't have kamikaze defensive play, but I can't recall one good chance created by their team.

I feel sorry for those of you who have sky sports, having to listen to that load of inane drivel and eulogising over the ordinary bang average crap from both teams.

Birmingham were well organised at the back, pressed us well and had someone who could take a long throw. Listening to Sky you’d think we had been watching The Dutch in 1974.
’Do you think Rooney will be disappointed?’….Jesus wept.
    Sky TV is fu…..

Generally speaking people mistaking our Birmingham accent for that of the Black Country are just plain dumb or ignorant. So when fans sing yamyam to Blues fans, they probably aren't being wound up, they are probably thinking what a bunch of idiots. I see it so many times on tv shows where they give Black country accents to people supposedly from as far away as south Warwickshire. I wonder if people mistake the Mancs and the Scousers?

What I can't understand with the EFL, is that why aren't clubs who get promoted to the Premier after breaking FFP rules, not subject to a points deduction on return to the championship?  The likes of QPR and Bournemouth should have started their first season back in the championship on negative points.

We're really not talking about "loopholes" are we though? Certainly not in the sense of finding some gap in the law that the authorities didn't intend to be there.  The EFL rules say we have to comply with FRS102. Our accountants (and seemingly every other accountant that's looked at it properly) think we do comply.  We just happen to do things a little bit differently because (shocker, I know! ?) companies choose to organise their accounts in a way that suits the way they want to do business.  You can't have flexibility in the rules and then have a toddler-tantrum when not everyone produces exactly the same thing.  And let's be clear - that flexibility is there by design, because those rules cover a multitude of different business-types that do different things in different ways, so you'll never get a single uniform set of rules from something like FRS102.  So we're again back at the same thing I keep saying - if the EFL want accounts produced in a very strict and controlled way, they need to write the rules for it and publish them.  You can't have the situation where the EFL are enforcing rules that aren't written down.

The point is, why has Forsyth got a ban when the Boro player didn’t? No problem if both do, no problem if neither does.

I used to travel from Birmingham on my own to home and away games. I used to go in the home stands at away games, to avoid been clocked as a Derby fan leaving the away enclosure at the end of the match, on my own.
One of my memories goes back to the dark days of Tommy Docherty and our first away win of the season at a midweek match at Wolves. A proper evil place where you had to use underpasses to get to the ground in those days.
I went in the ground just behind the dugouts and saw a group of Derby lads that I'd come across at other games. Whilst the game went on, I noticed that we'd attracted the attention of a large group of locals. Anyway I suggested to the other lads that with a couple of minutes to go, when Wolves were on the attack, that we should scarper.
I never stopped running until I got back to where I'd parked my car, unfortunately, one of the Derby lads had followed me, instead ofgoing back to the coach with his mates. I said that I didn't know where the coach park was, so I gave him a lift to Birmingham New Street train station, to get back to Derby.
About a month later I saw these lads again and they told me that when they realised that they'd lost him, they went back to the ground and got caught up in a bit of aggro, the coach waited until it could wait no longer and returned to Derby. The lads went round to his parents' house in the early hours to say that they'd lost him, only for his mother to tell them that he'd been home for some time and had gone to bed.
Last time I saw them, they told me that the lad had suffered a brain hemorrhage whilst on the 'Popside' at a game. I never did get find out, if he recovered.
