Just got to the end of the 2nd series of Unforgotten/Unforgivable/Unsolved.

Enjoyed it so much, I've watched every episode twice over to make sure I didn't miss anything.

There is a third series of this available on some medium or other - watched it about 3 weeks ago perhaps on Netflix or ITV HUB. Arguably the best of the three series. Hope you can find it.

Season 4 is as close to perfect as a TV show can get...

Re. The Wire. I know I am getting a bit deaf in my old age, and am currently too vain to want to buy/wear a hearing aid, but I am struggling at episode 6 series 1 to fully understand what is being said far too much of the time. Anyone else struggled with the African American dialects or is it just me, and I should go and get my ears sorted?

Just about to watch The Wire for the first time.

What medium are you watching it on? Now TV, and is it free to view if a subscriber?  I have Netflix and Prime. Thanks to anyone who responds in the know ?

Charlie Brooker's antiviral wipe was very good the other night. On iplayer, obviously.

I am not a great fan of Brooker’s comedy to be honest, but it was an ok watch. It will be meat and drink though I would have thought for any Socialist/Remainers who frequent this forum. I think there are a couple.

Well. I walked unaided to the local football pitches where Grimsby Town train with the intention of kicking a few balls, no chance.

Went on the bike after, leg over agony, the actual pedalling not too bad. I’m probably 3/4 days away from being recovered.

It’s more groin now, inner thigh. Probably regret it in the morning but after 2 and half weeks of baby steps trying to push it

When I saw you on Saturday I had forgot about your carting accident. Even when I saw you limping off towards the kitchen it only occurred to me that you had shat yourself. Hope you get better soon, but if the groin/thigh problems persists let me know as my missus has a bike she wants to sell ?

Season 3 of UNFORGOTTEN is on Netflix. Loved first two seasons. The premise of the show is a dept of the police investigating when remains turn up somewhere. They have to identify the remains and the circumstances. Really well made and with good storylines. Its British.

Just to add to Mostyn’s recommendation Series 3 (6 episodes) was just as good 1 & 2.  Each series is a different cold case, but by the same police team, and I would suggest there is not too much to be lost in terms of character development if you can only find Series 3 at this stage.

That is a strong possibility and one that I couldn’t argue with.

Not that this excuses what I did, I live right next to the hospital, half a mile down straight road, wasn’t a trek across town or anything like that.

Reason I took the scooter was I rolled my ankle earlier in the day and had that strapped up.

Again, no excuses, complete and utter stupidity

Appreciate the reply buddy. Look after yourself, and get well soon. And by looking after yourself, I mean in all respects - genuinely concerned that the Peroni intake needs some consideration. All the best.

Codeine and crutches. F’d my thigh muscle up pretty badly, with the mask and foreign language didn’t quite understand him other than expect large amount of bruising and the pain to get worse before it gets better. Got off lightly all things considered.

I doubt very much he was speaking in a foreign language, and perhaps the bit you didn’t understand was his comments about the idiocy of your actions. Just my current thoughts.
