Carnero reacted to EdinRam in Show of support at Pride Park - Saturday 10am
I'm sorry but I know we have just stayed up but the scenes after were pretty embarrassing and make us look tinpot. We stayed up by a scratch, we haven't just won the champions league.

Carnero reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
Is he OK? I thought Leeds fans were obsessed. Is this all because we got a draw with them in some game a few years ago? Sometimes I wonder why I have so little free time compared to others.

I hope he’s alright tonight, not dwelling on stuff. He’ll know he’s had a mare this afternoon and out of Mel Morris, Rooney and Craig, I wouldn’t like to say who’s the most relieved this evening.
I don’t like all this “never want to see him in a Derby shirt again” s hit, short memories some people, he’s had more positive input to this club than negative.

One day he’ll write a book about the highs and lows of Derby. He’s been there through all of it since clough. Seen managers come and go, seen the real superstars and more popular players of the Mac 1 era and beyond, like Martin, Keogh, Bryson, Bucko and Russell, come and go. Even seen the likes of Wissy and even Mac come and go, and come again (and in Macs case go again, and come again). He’s suffered horrific injuries, and come back and is still being picked by new managers to play important games.
He’s clearly past his best, but he’s been an excellent servant for this club and built up plenty of goodwill in my book.

Nobody deserves singling out after this, you do your best and that's all anyone can ask
I have not forgotten the countless times he saved a goal, and made one at the other end.
The fact is he gave his all for our club, and deserves credit for that!

Ok.. You had a bloody nightmare today.
Don't blame you for the first really. Second was poor but unlucky. Third... Err.. No excuses.
But what the hell, we are safe!!!
Real warrior and nothing but respect for him returning to play again and again.
Glad you aren't being blamed for our demise.

Serious question, how old are you? For those of us of a certain age, although football is very important, it's just a game. It makes us happy. It makes us sad. It makes us bloody depressed. With Derby County the emotions just keep jumping from one extreme to the other. I am not happy with how the season has gone. However we will be playing next season in the championship. We are at the moment joint first in the league. Hopefully we'll be there on our own in 46 games time. I'm celebrating (very subdued, without a drink and with no one close to me who gives a flying duck) being in that position. As @uttoxram75 said, we were celebrating a very similar situation all those years back. It got even worse the next year, so have a drink and a nice big smile on your face. There's plenty other things to worry about.

I am just to the left of the banner looking at my watch, 40 mile round trip worth it in the end.

The lads are not celebrating being 4th bottom, they have gone out to the fans who have been bothered to endure the weather to say thank you for the support.
If you don't want to celebrate your club managing to stay up, fine, Luckily most disagree.
It's not been good enough from the top down, I agree but we've survived relegation by the skin of our teeth and EVERY SINGLE CLUB would be doing the same if they were in our position right now.
Do you really think Sheff wed players would have just walked off the pitch if they won?...NO, they'd have been running round like we were.

Carnero reacted to Leeds Ram in Show of support at Pride Park - Saturday 10am
Yes we didn't win and it's been a shocking season but if you can't go mad surviving by the virtue of an 89th minute equaliser somewhere else what can you celebrate at? The rams are staying up and that deserves a lot of drinks, singing and dancing tonight- tomorrow we can deal with everything else

Everyone has the right to see the day out as they wish. Some want to celebrate, some don’t, that’s life.
Its not hurting anyone whichever way you look at it.?

I don't begrudge the players a bit of fun with the fans today at all.
We are relieved, they must also be so relieved. I think they've missed us more than we have missed them.
They are just young lads who have been under a tremendous amount of pressure.
Thete will be time to sort it all out, some will be casualties of the awful season we've had, but they should enjoy themselves tonight.

Anyone posting any negatives after today just dont get football for me.
Lots of things to analyse but that is for another day.
Right now I am on cloud 9 and getting bladdered.
Just wish a few others on here would learn to enjoy these sort of moments.
Sky TV and Football Manager have changed the landscape of football supporters for ever unfortunately.

Imagine what It would have been like if The place had been full...
Place would have been electric as they came out to start the game
Rotherham score-everyone is gutted.
kazim scores-Rams go wild-disallowed-wendies go crazy.
Wendies score on the stroke of half them-they go wild-ruins the half time pint.
we come out fighting, waggy scores, the place is crazy again.
roberts.....oh my word it’s back on.
then the piggies fight back, and their fans have hope.
news comes through that Cardiff have equalised.....the whole crowd is up.
penalty....Goal.
then hanging on hanging on..
It would have been the perfect game to be at.

Can we please stop lambasting Fozzy. Theres been enough poor play from the whole squad this season and he doesn't need singling out today. I'm sure he's fuming with himself. He's been a fantastic servant to this club, gone through multiple career threatening injuries and I'm glad he's with us still.

Only 10 players this time... I actually think I'd rather Rooney stays in charge than leave it to you Jimbo ?

Well done to everyone who brave the awful weather. If that support doesn’t get the players up for the match nothing will. ??
