Get Smith and Waghorn signed and we’ve got four forwards who have all scored double figures at some stage either in the championship or League One. 
Really can’t see the issues with this. I couldn’t care if they were all 39 and only had one season left in them, if it gets us promoted then Warne has done what he was tasked to do this year.

Might not be Rhodes that messed us about? Perhaps it was Huddersfield that put the brakes on any deal and Rhodes is as miffed as we are. No idea either way.

This isn't 1980. There's no chance Harry Kane is milling around the training ground when training finished 5 hours ago trying to sort out tickets for Son's mum.

To me this is a no brainer.
Won't take up much of the budget. Can play across the front line, threat from a set piece. Works his socks off. Loves the club. Confident he would chip in with around 10 goals.
Most clubs in this league would have Waghorn in a heartbeat.
Get him in on a one year deal.

Waghorn…Save your money.  He’s not going to do anything to justify paying his wages.
 
Godden….Sky Blues need to keep him.  If he moves to you, don’t expect a hatful of goals, but a player who creates and takes players away from your main striker.  As I say, he should remain in Coventry as he’s a grafter.

Coventry were waiting for another striker before thinking about letting Godden go, they’ve had a bid accepted for USA international Haji Wright. Could be one to keep an eye on very soon

This feels like a huge significant moment for our club, just take a time to reflect..
Ebosele, Ebiowei, Plange, Kelly man, etc etc, poached from us for peanuts due to the club being hamstrung by administration, debt, Mel, EFL sanctions and Quantuma.
Not today though, today we are able to offer our brightest prospects a 3 year deal, more importantly, they want to sign it.
 

Warne et al clearly think a lot of the kid. Look forward to seeing him develop.

Lyle Taylor 👀 on a free but offers something different to what we have & would score goals at this level imo

To put a positive spin on the players we have signed, they don't look like the kind of lads who will let any opposition take the piss. 
Nelson seems to have a combative edge to him and Bradley seems a bit of a poohouse in him. Last season I reckon we were a bit soft at times, can't see that happening much next season.

Positives we look very good from crossing and set pieces, we haven’t had that for years! 

Centre backs look solid making some great last ditch blocks.
Wildsmith is still a cat.
Negative for me it’s highlighted an issue we didn’t think we had. With Smith and CH deeper and Bird further up, we look open to counter attacks through the middle, neither Smith or CH quick or big enough to break up play in the middle if we lose possession, hopefully they sit a bit deeper during the league games and it isn’t an issue, personally I think we need something else there.
