    I beg to differ

Derby...shots 33...8 on target...13 corners...635 passes and 71.2 possession, I think the players need to look at the stats 😊

We are slow and predictable   ... and could easily have lost this game. Crewe surrendered possession  to us. Sibley and or Wilson should have been brought on earlier  to provide more variety in our attack. . The large number of shots could been seen as negative given as so many of the crosses and shots we had were ineffective, predictable  often not on target and caused their goalkeeper no problems  until the very end..

He is a slow immobile passenger.

His one decent forward pass, that led Bird's second goal, isn't a good enough a return from a player that some posters extol as a championship level player.

Two other forward passes where straight to the feet of an opposition player and on one of these occasions, instead of trying to get the ball back he turned towards Nelson  gesturing for him to challenge the Northampton player.

If has many fans have stated, that they want to see us playing the ball through the middle of the park that will require a mobile midfield unit and it can't afford to be carrying a passenger

One moment of magic isn't good enough to warrant his being named in the starting line-up

Did you spend a long time on the concourse?

I admire you and your son for spending the time and money to travel to home and away matches but don’t really admire this post. I doubt he is grateful for you describing his coaching ability as “hopeless” or performing a “sub standard job”, I’m sure there is a more mature way you could have communicated your disapproval and disappointment. I doubt he is taking the club or its supporters for granted and he’s not “leaching off our backs”. He is being well paid for doing a job presumably to the best of his ability. DC will decide ultimately if that is good enough or not.

In short, I applaud your passion and support your right to speak your mind but feel you’ve let yourself down a little with the way you have expressed your views. Perhaps I have spent enough of my career performance managing other people to know there are more effective and professional ways to alert others to their deficiencies. I suspect (and hope) that if you were actually having a conversation with Barker you’d express your views a little differently which would make your post a classic example of a keyboard warrior.

Pompous. This is a football forum not a management training course.

Nope. The majority I talk are behind Warne as, aside from the turgid football, they can see the bigger picture and they recognise just what a difficult ob he has when you go through the many extenuating circumstances.

He needs and will be given time. I'll say it again, a few disgruntled fans won't change Clowes mind. He gave Warne a 4-year contract for a reason.

One of the most precious things Derby has, both for manager, players , owner and ourselves is the high attendances. That will be squandered  next season if the dross continues.

My son-in-law is a huge football fan.

He told me last night that he can watch most games regardless of quality but that the standard of the Derby game on Saturday was so poor he had to switch off.

I keep hearing what a strong squad we have but I suspect a neutral view would be that we’re a bang average bunch.

I don’t think any new manager will wave a magic wand and turn us into Man City. All we could hope for is an improvement in passing and more attacking intent.

And Warne claims we played well ..... he needs to take more personal responsibility.

I don't like the widespread, incessant criticism of the officials. After all, without them, there couldn't be a game.

However, that referee needs to explain exactly what he saw there, and it had better be good, if he is to ever officiate again.

So what explanation would make you feel better about it ... perhaps only a direct unambiguous "I messed up" would do. But the point is that these mistakes happen with such great regularity.

but has he lost the players?

We know the players can do better cos they have done it in patches this season but its motivation, tactics and pattern of play ( we seem to lack all three) and the manager has a big responsibility. The players are not responding to him. He said we "played well today" - enough said.

    More fool them.

I thought he was a mediocre manager at best whose wages helped to drain the club's finances even further at a time we could ill afford to do so.

Plus I feel he was always instrumental in the removal of cocu and undermined him as the manager in his own desire for management.

And he will always be the man who was in charge when we were relegated to league 1.

A massive mistake by Birmingham that won't them take long to regret I fear.

Your post  is a dreadful rewriting of history, even though he could not be described as anything better than an average manager.  ...

Mel Morris undermined Cocu by bringing in Rooney when Cocu had hardly started.

Cocu's poor results were the cause of his downfall.

We were relegated due to the points deduction and Rooney did his best when not able to bring in players ( particularly more forwards ).

Rooney deserves the plaudits of Rams fans - he had a good stab at keeping us up despite the savage points deduction. He showed great loyalty  to the club and did not jump ship.

Were his wages not paid by a specific sponsor?

    Genuinely,  yes.

I think other than Mac, and before then the Bald Eagle,  its no worse than what's been served up for 40years.

If you are saying this seriously then I'm not sure what you see and what you look for. George Burley got us playing some good football and even Billy Davies offered better than Warne.

Not off topic. I stated that people on here are dwelling in the perceived negativity as they choose to do so.

No one else is determining their outlook other then themselves.

Clearly wrong since they are not choosing to be negative if the negativity goes away with good performances. Its stimulus - response. Those who are positive about the team regardless of performance are the ones choosing their mood. It's very rational to make negative comments about poor performances.

You comment too much on other posters rather than just talking about the football. Some might call it preaching.

Interestingly if we carried on with our existing home and away performances and extrapolated that to the end of the season then we would finish on 78 points which on last year's league standings would have us finish in the playoffs places.

So again there's nothing to turn around if we continued on our current trajectory.

Unless of course you expected us to finish in the Top 2 positions.

This response is pure flannel - you can't ignore how poor our home form has been for months. Its to do with being rewarded travelling long distance  to home matches by a good performance. I have no demand about finishing top 2 or whatever, but just want to watch good football at home matches. This will be a "turn round ". Even in some disappointing recent seasons our home form has been much better.

If Warne gives his players the permission to try things even if they don’t always get it right we can thrive.

Quick first time passing is the way forward.

This thread is about improvements |Warne has brought about and yet you hope for something he has signally failed with, yet he endlessly promises that this is what he wants. "Ineffective" is the word that describes his management currently.

Sorry but we played decent stuff just couldn’t score when we had pressure on. Get grip, put your big boy pants on and realise that we have no divine right to promotion because we’re Derby County - big club who shouldn’t be in League 1.

Whatever camp you might be in  to say just couldn’t score when we had pressure on  is delusional , there is far more wrong than that.
