Yes quite.  All those PSG fans who turned for the champions league final were there to support their own team, as were those in Hungary last year who had to play behind closed doors.
Perhaps we could have experienced a bit of Europe ourselves in the late eighties but something happened that caused a banning order preventing us.  Some club who perhaps weren't concentrating on just supporting their own team.
Memory escapes who might have caused that scenario.  Can anyone help.

Hockey for example…a much faster and skill full game. Would have a decent following as well.

IMO the BBC should not be giving taxpayers money to “ foreign” sports. Leave that to Sky etc. There are plenty of under funded British based sports that need the cash and exposure.

Yeah, I don't like it. If a batter is taking the piss with the backing up, then give a warning and if they keep doing it then fair enough. Dean wasn't doing that yesterday, it was standard backing up and she was still in the crease when the bowler entered her delivery stride.

To be fair to the guy, he gets interviewed an awful lot with very similar questions setting him up to present a positive response. It's natural he'll fall into some verbal ticks.
The thing is, he does actually seem absolutely delighted, and honest and passionate. It's nice to see and no doubt he'll find different ways to say the same thing as he moves forward.

Really enjoying this season so far. After 14 seasons straight in the Championship i was glad to get out, tbh it didnt bother me if it was up or out the bottom. All those seasons waking up having to drag yourself to another game against Preston, QPR, Bristol City, Blackburn, Reading. Then as if that wasnt bad enough you had teams with truly moronic support, the likes of Brum, Millwall, Boro, Stoke etc, its a horrible nasty desperate place the Championship and im glad to be out of it for a bit.
Ive found myself going back to how i first followed the Rams. Couple of beers at lunch, something to eat and just enjoy the game. A quick flick in the evening to see the scores down the leagues and thats it really. Don't care about the Prem or Championship, not even too bothered about who's where in Division one yet

We had 5 players 6 weeks ago, we had a shorter pre season than all other clubs, we are 4 league games in, and have lost once, we have been the better team in all of those games so far, we have the makings of a very decent side.
Last year I was so proud to be a Derby fan, let's not lose that togetherness and stick behind the team together as one.
I for one am very happy with the huge progress we have made as a club in the past 6 weeks

Would 100% have him bsck in League 1, versatile attacking player which we need.
Collins McGoldrick Waghorn & Dobbin as striker options, cant be many too disappointed with that at this level

Reckon any of that deadwood would take 12k a week and the pleasure of playing real football in front of real fans??

It’s emerged that Chinese-Cambodian businessman Wang Yaohui possibly held a controlling interest in the club for many years without taking the EFL’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test.
The EFL has reportedly obtained evidence linking the Cambodian diplomat Wang Yaohui to Birmingham City, according to Radio Free Asia, with reports in July saying the EFL successfully applied to Singapore’s Supreme Court to access records in a case brought against one of Mr Yaohui companies.
The application was made as part of an investigation by the EFL into allegations that Yaohui ‘secretly controls a substantial portion of the club’s shares’.
Yaohui possibly held a controlling interest in the club for several years without taking the EFL’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test or declaring it to the stock exchange, where Birmingham’s majority owner, Birmingham Sports Holdings Limited (BSHL), is listed.
According to The Athletic, should Yaohui be found to have been the beneficial owner of shares in BSHL and Oriental Rainbow Investments – the British Virgin Islands-registered company that currently owns the 21.64 per cent stake in Birmingham City that prospective new owners Paul Richardson and Maxi Lopez want to buy initially – then both BSHL and Blues could face sanctions from the stock exchange and EFL. Those possible sanctions even include a points deduction.
    Takeover latest:
Lopez and Richardson already missed 1st proof of funds deadline
     They can’t access the money
They’re scrambling around to find additional funds
EFL won’t let the current owners sell up until they provide more transparency on who they are. This will risk sanctions from the EFL.
St Andrew’s meanwhile still has the bottom tiers in two stands closed due to structural concerns despite hopes they would be open by the start of the season, significantly reducing the capacity.
