Shipley Ram got a reaction from jimbo jones in Derbyshire CCC - Mickey Arthur Appointed
I was watching just after lunch and quite enjoying it, but then I had to take my son out. I thought after I got back I should watch from where I had to leave, at least until the Derbyshire collapse. I've only just finished catching up, I could get used to this.

Just turned it on, sounds like I missed a good knock from Massod, but I'm liking Madsen's reverse sweeping. It look like we are heading for an interesting finish.

I Spoke to Cashin this morning, asked him if he would be with us next season, he said he hoped so.

He looks quality, just what we needed to firm up our fragile batting.

Shan Masood looking like an excellent signing already.
Decent coverage on YouTube, at least they're following the ball rather than it being one fixed camera.

Because we will take it this season? From the Sun article
"But the deal may also see Derby docked a further 15 points THIS season that would guarantee relegation.
The size of the offers to the creditors will be below the 25p in the pound demanded by the EFL. But to speed the takeover through it will mean a total of 36 points off their total.
But the good news is that means Derby will start next season in League One without having to cope with a massive penalty."

Cheer them on for me, I'm not going as my house is Covid ridden and although I've not tested positive (yet) the last thing I want to do is go to the match then afterwards feel unwell and test positive, especially as I would be sitting with my elderly parents.

I might add some other points later but firstly I'll take you back to 11th December 1982, Fulham away. We had a poor team but were on a high as Peter Taylor had recently return binging Archie Gemmill back, and having just signed Bobby Davison. I can't actually remember much about the game, we lost, Bobby made his debut from the bench. I went on a junior rams coach, a couple of things stick in my memory. We arrived early and wasn't allowed off the coach. Someone spotted a huge dog turn on the street, a game developed where we shouted at the passing Fulham fans as they passed to make them look up at us rather than down at the turn. There was a stream of oohs as the Fulham fans nearly stepped in the turn, until one did to a huge goal like celebration.
On the way back it was the FA cup draw, everyone was shushed as the balls were drawn Derby came out of the hat first, a home draw. Then came Forest, the atmosphere on the coach became electric, Derby v Forest. Although the kids were excited at our age the gravity of the draw passed us by a bit. It wasn't until I saw the back page of the paper next day I realised it was nationaly significant draw. We then pullen in to a services where a Derby coach had broken down, they were trying to get everyone home by sneaking a few onto each passing Derby coach. We picked up some lads (from Ripley?) who told us tales of 80's style football action and lead the singing on the way home.
