Think that was the game Mickey Lewis kicked Steve McMahon from pillar to post and McMahon spent most of the game crying to the referee
I think it was more McMahon left his foot in to try and bully Mickey, but Mickey didn't back down and McMahon hurt himself. Mickey did give John Barnes a kick or two in that game.

1990 a game we lost but football won.
Rams 4 - Chelsea 6
In retrospect this seemed like a turning point, before this I was hopefull of european qualification, after we were on a slide towards relegation. Or is my memory wonky?

They may have got things right on the pitch recently but this seems onimous , it gives me last days of Mel vibes. Owner no longer putting cash in and just borrowing it, until the credit runs out. I'm not bothered if they get points deduction and relegation but I really hope thay don't have to go through the insolvency s****.

They're still whining about VAR and FFP, two things things they positively reveled in when other clubs were being screwed by those things. Apparently, the governing bodies appealing Tribunal decisions is reprehensible now.
Pathetic.
There seems to be some sort of mass hysteria going on over in Nottingham. They think they are on a noble crusade against the corruption in VAR.

I won't be on the pitch, I'm sitting near my mum. She gave me a right bollocking last time she caught me on the pitch, in 1983.

Christ , im no longer intrigued now ive seen the pricetag ahaaahah
Yes, it's expensive but very good. I got it following a nasty accident it gives me loads a data about what each leg is doing ( my right leg is f*****). The drivers insurance paid for it. There are much more affordable options. If you already have an outdoors bike something like this might work https://www.evanscycles.com/brand/pinnacle/hc-turbo-home-trainer-712633 you take your back wheel off and put this in its place. If not there are cheap options like this https://jllfitness.co.uk/products/jf100-exercise-bike-2 which should be good for a workout but will lack some of the functions. In general the more you pay the cleverer they get. Pay more you get, training routines, virual climbs and can do virtual races with other people.

I don't know what Ian is on but I'm on a Wattbike Atom, https://wattbike.com/products/wattbike-atom , and the screenshots are from Strava. The Wattbike hub does the actual recording but I upload to Strava as that where my outdoor rides upload to.

Of course the squad needs an overhaul, my concern is where the money is coming from. DC is running a tight ship - and I approve of that, given the past few years, but if you recall the lean GSE years even they were pumping money into the club and getting nowhere.
I suspect, without any actual evidence that Warne was appointed because he could get us up and keep us up on the reletive cheap. DC isn't rich, for a club owner, and we won't be chucking money at the problem like we have in years gone past.
I don't have a problem with going counter attack, we look so much more dangerous on the break. Warne will make a team with great spirit, energy, and we will suprise teams who underestimate and attack us. I'm not confident he can fashion a team that will break down teams that park the bus, but that isn't next seasons problem(unless we f*** up next week).

No coincidence this huge hike is it? Looking at the BBC article though, it seems very ad hoc around the ground, with no price band consistency. It’s almost like they don’t care about their fans; take it or leave us.
Changing the age band for youth tickets will be annoying for the 18-19 year olds, and the cheapest kids ticket going up by over 100%. I can see why they are upset.
They will be more upset when we play them, have you seen their defending from corners? We'd score about 6.

No idea of your age and weight - but that looks a pretty impressive, sustained effort - avg 17.5 mph over 2+ hours.
Thats from me watching the game on the wattbike, I'm suspsuperstitious when the game in on, I feel its unluck to stop even if I really need to step off, and I can set a punishing pace if the game is painful to watch. That might be my theoretical speed for the power output but I couldn't keep that pace up on the road with hills and junctions slowing me. I'm mid 50's and just under 17 stone.
Back in 2014 I was 18 1/2 stone and got into club cycling, I ended up just under 15 stone but could bang out some big rides, I did 14 100 milers in 2017. It all came to a rather abrupt end, I hit a car, got a ride to hospital in a helicopter, 10 hours of surgery and 4 weeks in hospital and 6 months off work. I've never, and probably will never, get my fitness back to what it was. It has left me with a cyclist view of timings, 2 hours is not a big ride. This is the sort of ride I was putting in pre accident
