From the BBC
Man City 98-1 Forest
Man City 1-0 Nottingham Forest
Chris Bevan
BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium
It's fair to say that goal had been coming but if you want some stats that further illustrate how this game has gone in the first seven minutes, then Kyle Walker's pass to set up Phil Foden was City's 98th of the game, with a 97% accuracy.
Forest's tally when they fell 1-0 down? One pass... which was unsuccessful.

I'll point you again in the direction of this statistic. I'm sick of hearing this "rape allegations ruin lives" they don't.
It depends who you are, for most of us a rape allegation would ruin our lives. If you're rich and powerfull enough you can ride it out more easily.
What is the source for your statistic? The total number of rapes is an estimate, who is estimating in this case?

RIP Colin Murphy, rather thrown in at the deep end at Derby. He was appointed with the intention of keeping the managers seat warm while Clough was persuaded to return. If only.

I've been told that Brighton changed the deal at the last minute and wanted to loan him to Norwich rather than back to us. With no replacement set up that couldn't happen.

Just need someone to poach Cooper and it'll all fall apart. Little reason to think they'll strike lucky a second time given their managerial appointments prior to him.

well it seems to work for them, we can poke fun at them all we want they are signing players below 27 and spending money to establish themselves whereas we seem to sign players exclusively over 27 for nothing. what i would give to have no structure to our transfer policy if thats the end result
It might work for them, or it might not. I'll be interested to see who misses out on the squad numbers, it will be tricky to keep everyone happy. Their wage bill will be huge, there are still Arter and Shelvey on the books who won't play who will be getting nearly £100k a week, if I was Arters agent I'd be in the managers office when the squad are out saying my client needs a pay rise to match Shelvey as the going rate for the non squad midfielder is clearly £65k a week. These players, despite their young age, will only retain value if they play well, as we found to our cost if it goes wrong on the pitch you will be stuck with a load of overpayed players you can't unload.

Think the worst sale was announced the day after Deadline Day. Tom Huddlestone.
I was so gutted with this. I had radio 5 on all day as he was expected to move and was so relived as the window shut and he hadn't gone. Then that relief was punctured at the late announcement.

Once they’ve stopped selling petrol and diesel cars they’ll tax the hell out of electric cars. How else will they get back the lost tax revenue from the duty on fuel?
Road pricing. The ULEZ infracstructure will be repropgrammed for charging by mile. It will start low but escalate, uless you are loaded I'd start arranging you life to be livable car free as in 20 years only a minority will be able to afford cars.

£15m spent on Elanga, imagine that's largely wasted money. You'd think they'd be looking at signings that would make a difference more so than boosting an already over-inflated squad.
I think they need him as Johnson is fed up of the other players taking the piss out of his small package and wants to more to the bigger club Brentford.

I've got a feeling he'll have a good season and score more than expected. He's not a great techical footballer but will put himself in the right areas to get on the end of crosses. The two Ward crosses he put away have been top notch.
He should watch some videos of Shearer, he too often sems to end up in a wrestling match with his defender, he needs to look at Shearers fouling technique and make some space for himself by shoving the defender while the ball is about to be crossed and no one is watching.

Roos cost us that game.
This was such a dissapointing moment, I saw Roos go for it, relax as he was clearly to catch it, and then looked on deflated and stunned as the ball rolled into the back of the net wondering what the f*** I had just seen.
Despite that I won't blame him for the loss, like I won't blame Steve Cherry for his mistake in an earlier season.

Your former owner paid his taxes yet?
Thought not.
If you or I did what your owner got upto we'd end up in prison.
What nonsnense. Mel, the p****, put one of his limited companies into administration. The outstanding debts were all dealt with by by the administrators under business law. Any of us could put our limited companies into administration for any outstanding debts to be resolved in this way. I don't aprove of how Mel conducted himself, but to suggest there is anything imprisonable about it is quite wrong. If you have a problem with this perhaps you should approach your MP about changing the insolvency laws?
What do you think of Ken Bates who managed to put Leeds into admin, pay the creditors, including HMRC, 8%, and bought back Leeds from the admin debt free? I almost wish Mel had pulled the same trick to see the resulting treetard hysteria, apart from the EFL wouldn't have taked their foot off our neck whist Mel was in charge.

I'm old enough to remember him in the 1983 era, he could be pretty savage. I remember one game he started his aftermatch report with I have no problems with two players (I think Bobby and another I can't remember) before outlining the many problems he had with the rest of the team. It might have been after a 5-0 defeat at Barnsley
