How do you feel about Jason Knight winning just as many free kicks in the same way?
Don't really understand why people are against this transfer other than the sole reason that he might compromise our pressing system. Which is a big reason, admittedly, but personally I'd love him as an option, especially with very little noise anywhere about other players coming in. I picture the ball sticking to him as our other players fly forward, and I get excited.

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed. 
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.

My mates just sent me a hilarious prank on what’s app, a tweet from what must be a John Percy spoof account saying Liam Rosenior is no longer interim manager and we want to replace him with Paul Warne. ?????
What the f*** are we doing? A young progressive manager who is ready and who has players to a large degree to suit how we want to play and we want to replace him with a manager who let’s face it practices anti football which we don’t have the personnel to play!  This is beyond bonkers!! A complete and utter head f*** ???
What is it now, 100 days since Clowes took over, where’s the structure? Where’s the recruitment team? What’s the plan to stop fans running the club making decisions as fans?! Brighton and Brentford is the model we need to follow if we want to be successful yet sustainable. This is the type of decision Mel Morris would make!! I just can’t get my head round it. No chance Rosenior stays in a support role. 

I hope Warne turns us down.

It looks like we're using Knight there for the forseeable, which I've no problem with as he plays a Cancelo-type role, getting involved everywhere.

Sadly I think he'll do well for them, he's a natural finisher.

His work rate for 90 minutes his phenomenal. As he is putting himself about for the full 90 minutes, it means defenders lose their concentration and it creates chances. This has been seen multiple times this season.
I saw on multiple occasions last night, he got the ball into feet, played it out wide and then went full sprint into the box. He was doing this time and time again. He often makes his runs to the back post - and some of our crossing hasn't been great.
Then defensively, he's a monster in our box. He's being given one of the most important defensive heading roles (the free man in the middle) - again - he wins a lot of headers in our box. 
It all goes together. If we're winning as a team, and we generally are, then his spot is earnt even without the goals.
What I liked last night - when he missed that chance in the 93rd minute - no-one got on his back - 90% of people in the East stand applauded him. These are the types of fans I want.
He's not even close to being dropped in my eyes - his all-round play is immense, just a goal or two will keep the doom mongers away.

If we want to finish as high as possible, the main striker should be scoring at least one goal from the 60+ shots we've had in the last 4 games. 
It's no coincidence we scored two goals once he was off the field on Saturday.

This is it. Derby fans would be exactly the same. Any club would.

My favourite thing about being in this league is the lack of international breaks, plus of course there’s an extra bonus this year in that we get to carry on during the mid-season World Cup break, which will be amazing.
