Look at last season. Their poor form is a lot longer than 4 games this season. They’ve been pretty crap all 2022.

This is it. Derby fans would be exactly the same. Any club would.

Everything is relative. Villa are a top half Prem club now, and should be better.

unfortunately I see Henderson keeping them up. They dominated spurs over large periods today, I thought they would look much worse than they do

Spurs looked exactly the same against Wolves, it’s entirely their style of play to allow the other team to have the ball until they reach the final third. It makes teams look threatening when they aren’t.

Have seen Forest twice now at home in Sky Sunday matches, have to say how disgusted I have been with the totally cynical way Cooper has set his side up - 2 deliberate handballs to avoid goals being scored against them, rugby tackling opposition players to stop them breaking away, more than half the team booked today, it's a not so subtle way of cheating.

They'll stay up on the basis of what I've seen so far but the manner which they'll do so hasn't even been touched on by the MSM which is pretty sad in itself.

The issue for them is that the Premier League is so strong now. Which three teams are worse than them?

Bournemouth look destined to come last, but who else?

They need two of the below to do worse than them.

Everton - Look in danger this season but definitely have the quality to turn it around.

Leicester - Poor so far but surely too much firepower.

Fulham - looking very good so far, provided they don’t get major injuries they should be above Forest.

Southampton - no weaker than last season, where they were pretty comfortable.

Brentford - their money ball plan has worked great so far. If they keep Toney they should be ok.

Villa - provided Gerrard is sacked soon they should be fine. A top half squad for sure.

Wolves - a stuttering start but you’d expect them to be fine.

Everyone keeps saying that Forest have spent well and should be comfortable, but I don’t see it. I feel like 17th is a massive challenge. The quality in the league is insane. And the difference, for me, is that most of the list above have proven and consistent goalscorers. If Forest aren’t scoring, they’re down.

I remember those games in our disaster season where we played well against the big clubs - Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea - but lost by the odd goal and didn't get a fraction of the luck with refereeing decisions etc that Forest have had in their first two home games.

You have to win when you play well in the PL, because you almost certainly won't when you play badly.

They were outplayed by West Ham and won, though. I fear that Henderson could save them this season, much like he did Sheffield United. It’s ridiculous he’s not starting every week at a big club.

Win a few more we can sing this to AC/DCs Whole Lotta Rosie ?

    Wanna tell you story
    About manager we know
    When it comes to footballin'
    He's in the know
    He ain't exactly experienced
    Ain't exactly on the ball
Played 5 won 2 drawn 2 Lost one
You could say he's not gonna fall
    We've never had a manager
Never had a manager like you
    Doin' all the training things
Doin' all the tactic things you do
    Ain't no bad headline story
    Ain't off the office phone
But you give it all you got
Weighin' in with possible decent players on loan
You're a whole lotta new manager
    A whole lotta new manager
    Whole lotta Rosenior
    Whole lotta Rosenior
    Whole lotta Rosenior

I'm sure we'll get 10,000 singing this banger

I mean what more can Liam do even two months down the line - if the players aren’t putting the chances away that we are creating no manager can do anything more. I think we do need a goal in the first 20 mins next away game or the frustration in the crowd grows which I think will grow in the players too. Hopefully we get 3 wins out of these 4 home games in the league and cup to really drive some momentum.

This entirely. For me the manager's job is to find a system that creates more good chances than the opposition, something we've done in every match so far. Can't ask more from Rosenior.

  7. If we really are signing 4-5 players then this is a no brainer IMO. CM is our strongest position and using his wages to bolster our squad where it's needed (full back, winger, striker) makes much more sense. And then we get him back! If he does end up having an injury-free (big if) and great season with Birmingham then it boosts his value to sell him or we get a great player. I think it's win/win.

As others have pointed out, just because a player has signed doesn't mean they have to be announced instantly. I'm not letting my hopes disappear until the day is out or someone from the club says no one is coming.

The CKR missed header was from a lovely Buchanan cross but he had to jump and got the timing wrong. An easy chance but vastly more difficult. For Lawrence, the cross bounced as it came across the six-yard box, with the ball sitting up in front of Lawrence to nod in without jumping or breaking stride.

Yeah, the Lawrence chance was about 50 times easier. Any professional footballer should score that really, or at the very least get it on target. I thought I'd missed something when people were saying CKR missed an open goal. Uh, no.
