Personally didn't like him blabbing away on twitter through the whole process before he actually bought the club as if this happened (always inevitable) then he'll look a bit daft.
Also don't really like the petulance on show from him today either. To come out on twitter in the way he has isn't exactly what I'd want to see.
One thing though, clearly the fact he's been showed round the place by Rooney's agent, can obviously see why Rooney wanted him to get the club.
Lots of people assuming Rooney will end up going now CK won't be the owner.
To be quite honest. Whilst I absolutely think how Rooney has held himself and acted through all of this deserves a huge amount of credit and also a fair crack at bringing us back up. I also wouldn't be massively disappointed if he did leave and we just started from scratch.

How about we actually see us for actually breaking the rules which is what we did. This complex of blaming everyone but mel morris is beyond strange!

I'd aim the chant at Morris.  He's the scoundrel in all this.

He's lied to us, conned us and left us high and dry.
The EFL are applying rules that are in place for every single club. 
We've lost more than we should. 
Morris tried to flount the rules, failed and left us.
Putting us in administration was the final nail.
But if you wanna sing F the EFL for applying punishments to us for breaking rules that we knew were there and knew what the punishment would be then go ahead.

Should recoup that easily when we sue QPR and Villa. Villa broke the rules in 2019 is he suing them ? 

If it is -21 and our results don't suddenly take a massive upturn, I'm not sure I would "strengthen" at all other than the odd loan deal, we got massively burned in 2008 trying to strengthen in the January when relegation was already inevitable, better to leave it till the Summer...

The Derby County fantasy of playing in League 1 just so you can get to go to "proper football grounds" is very strange. Honestly blows my mind that anyone could think of anything positive to playing League 1 football.

Morris has got off incredibly lightly. Maxwell and the Amigo’s got pelters, yet Morris has been a million miles worse than them. Can’t stand the bloke. Ruined this club. Deserves all the criticism. It’s a shame we can’t do it to his face at the ground.

How on earth can they sue for that beyond a joke now.

I can’t find anything remotely suggesting this guy is close to being a billionaire. 
It is very rare for someone worth a billion or more to not have that made public knowledge or articles linking them to their wealth and even his company accounts suggest he’s not even worth multiple hundreds of millions. 
I remember when Simon Jordan was adamant that Erik Alonso had serious wealth etc etc, turns out he didn’t have a pot to **** in

He oversaw the signings of the likes of Martin and Russell. Mac said he was “the glue that holds the club together”. He seemed to be well respected when he was here.
He was found unfairly dismissed at a tribunal. Could it be Mel was the one in the wrong during all that?
We're certainly in a worse position since he left.

According to Toon fans, he has not invested in the club and seems have run it into the ground.
He's done well to sell it for about £400M then.
He might not be everyone's cup of tea, but he has a lot of experience running an English football club on a sound financial footing and keeping it at a level most of us would be happy with. When I hear of potential foreign investors with no experience of English football, it fills me with dread. Some have worked out, but some have been a disaster, I feel that an Ashley type person will be a more safer middle of the road option.
