Feel for Collins. No one was slagging him last week at Blackpool, game without a goal and he’s getting pelters again, embarrassing

I've seen "One of our defenders is missing" at least three times this season.

An "anchor" around the club's neck? One letter short I think.

WharfedaleRam reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Derby v Portsmouth Match Thread
I’m posting comments in the Matchday thread relating to what I can see in the game for people who aren’t watching. it’s not a classic game but that’s what this thread is for as I understand it
We’ve had some pressure the last few mins, we’ve won a penalty, Collins has scored it. Go whine in another thread

When? Sat 2nd Sept
Where? Toughsheet Community Stadium, Burnden Way, Horwich BL6 6JW (Located in the Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park).
Last Season Bolton finished 5th in League 1 last season before losing to Barnsley in the Playoff Semi-Final.
Opening 5 Matches The Trotters started the season with three straight L1 victories, scoring three goals in each game. They have since gone two without a win as Saturday's draw at Burton followed a heavy 0-4 defeat at home to Wigan.
BWFC Dangermen On paper it would appear to be their two top scorers, former Burton man Adeboyejo (four goals) and NI international Dion Charles (three goals). They have lost two fine loanees from last season though as keeper Trafford and the Liverpool RB Conor Bradley have moved on.
History This fixture will be the 136th time these two Founder Members of the Football League have met in a competitive match. In the Cup competitions it is Bolton who have had the upper hand with five wins to the Rams' two.
In League encounters though it is Derby who have had the better of it. Of 128 League meetings DCFC have won exactly half. The overall League record is as follows:
P 128 W 64 D 23 L 41
In recent meetings between the sides Wanderers have won just once in the past dozen matches compared to the Rams' seven wins with four draws.
Although this is an away match for us, our home record against Bolton is fantastic, with Derby unbeaten since a 0-2 loss at the Baseball Ground way back in Sept 1981. Since then the Rams have won 10 and drawn four on Derby soil. That run includes wins in the last five at Pride Park, scoring 17 and conceding three in those five games.
Connections Players who have represented both clubs include Frannie Lee, John McGovern, Jeff Chandler, Nicky Hunt and currently at Bolton is Cameron Jerome. There is also a connection through our ex-gaffer and their former player Phil Brown whilst ex-Rams player Ian Evatt is seemingly doing a fine job at Bolton as manager.
Pair of Titbits Firstly, Bolton's 73 seasons in the top division is the most of any English club without winning the title.
And secondly, and I like this one tbh, the first ever Football League goal came in this very fixture on 8th Sept 1888 on the original opening day of the season. It was scored at 3:47pm (3:45pm kick offs all round then) by Bolton's Kenny Davenport although Derby went on to win the game 6-3.
Rams Expected Line Up I'm not aware of any injuries picked up against Peterborough so we could see another unchanged starting XI as Derby seek a third straight win.

That’s true. But he did sign him, and he’s picking him, and he’s scoring for Derby. There’ll be plenty of other sticks to beat Warne with, ask around and people will share some with you, the circumstances of Waggy joining don’t need to be one.

I'm not digging out anyone who jumps on boards. Just the inevitable negativity that's followed England's men being brought over. Maybe it won't. But England women are certainly nothing like all those decades of the men's team constantly fumbling tournaments.
They're a really likable bunch who really work for each other. They're as honest as a team can be. A reminder of why you like football. Hopefully people are proud of them

Very much looking forward to the game and win, lose or draw, they continue to incite change for the better and inspire so many people.
I have coached women’s football before and it was unbelievably rewarding. There was women of all ages and abilities. Some were in their late thirties who had fought to play on the same team as lads, fought again to have a club and then fought again to have enough teams to have a league. All of that had happened in just their playing years.
So without getting on my soapbox too much, this means the world to those women and for all the ladies that have followed. Having a daughter myself now and knowing the opportunities she will be afforded should she wish is a testament to all those that have worked so hard to this point.
I just hope even if women’s football isn’t your thing you can at least appreciate why it’s so important to so many. Oh, and maybe keep your opinions to yourself for a day or two.

A little known fact, but these are in fact the original lyrics to a rather popular little ditty around these parts, and a timely reminder of those shameful and inexcusable times of yore, as referenced above by @RoyMac5...
She's Bloomer washing,
With all of her might.
Guiding her linen to be all starched and white.
All those that see her, she's nowhere to hide,
Hanging out her washing on the line... out... side!
(Clap, cla, Derby, cla, Derbyclap etc... Derby... etc)
