Got to look on the bright side, clean sheet and another point chipped off the 12, that’s 33% in two games.

I think you're referring to the 2-2 home draw against Southampton a couple of weeks earlier..youtube footage on previous page. Todd did indeed deliberately handle the ball (cracking save to be fair) but back in those days, it wasn't a sending off offence.
Bugger, all these years I was sure it was the four nil against Stoke and as for the sending off..man my memory don’t half play tricks on me. Thanks for putting me right. ?

Going back to the 4 - 0 thumping of Stoke (11th September ‘71) I’m pretty sure Colin Todd got sent off for deliberate handball on the goal line. Can anyone confirm that my memory isn’t playing tricks on me ?
I was in the boys pen for this game only being 12 at the time.

Oh. I thought it was interesting. Nice to read Mason Mount holds him in high regard.

The only petrol station in Hertford (a county town) had a delivery on Wednesday afternoon. I slipped down there about 9 o’clock last night to get the 33 quids worth they allow you to buy...no fuel at all. ?♂️

Hmph...I’d chuck Berry out of that team and replace him with Shinniesta.

All clubs in administration are doing it now. ?

Didn’t want to create a new thread for this and it haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere else on the forum but I was heartened to read this earlier this afternoon.

Well I’ve read twenty staff were made redundant on Tuesday or Wednesday. Pearce, who would have been the first out of the door if I had anything to do with it, attended the game last night.
How many people that lost their jobs would have been covered by his salary alone ? Makes me puke how he, partly responsible for this mess get to keep his job but those on the coal face as it were are down the road. But then, that’s always been the case hasn’t it ?

They’ve both recently been ducked ? ?

Phew, great result but this hanging on to a 1-0 lead is no good for my old strawberry. ?

Not on my iPad it ain’t. Also, why would he put a sad face emoji after being proud the South Stand is full ? ?
But thanks for getting back to me. ?

I’m seeing that little rectangular box (next to the word proud in Ellafella’s post) more frequently, what does it mean ?

I don’t remember road rage incidents in the 70’s nor the arrogance I feel some young people display these days but hey, maybe I just didn’t perceive it as arrogance back then as I was a teenager too.
I am aware I am less tolerant of what I think is bad manners these days. Suppose that’s what being in my sixties now has done to me. ?♂️

I don’t think anybody is saying anything of the kind. What a ridiculous post.

Pah, I reject your low prediction for you underestimate the power of the Sage rallying of the troops.

I’m a former HGV driver with 30 year’s experience, no accidents and clean licence. Enjoyed my job but after having a stent put in, in 2009, the hoops the DVLA made me jump through to keep my licence coupled with having to renew my CPC licence (a tax basically, a nonsense piece of legislation that amongst other things proved I knew how to get in and out of my lorry ?) I called it day.
I’m sure I’m not the only one to have left the industry due to the nonsense drivers have to contend with these days. They’ve taken the pleasure out of the job in my opinion, mind you, it was on a slippery slope since cab phones were introduced in the late 80’s, early 90’s.

Aye just a shame Bristol City were the team to capitalise on Peterborough’s poor result. ☹️
