Frankly, you can roll your eyes all you like, but we're now in administration and I'd say that's ample punishment for using an amortisation policy that was neither outlawed under the EFL's own regs, nor FRS 102 non-compliant. These facts seem to have been lost in a tidal wave of fear and self-loathing that I'm totally at a loss to understand.

I just sat watching it in disbelief. I never thought we’d witness an atrocity to top Lockerbie, seeing the picture of the cockpit of PanAm 103 lying on its side for the first time will stay with me forever, as will seeing the second plane hit the tower.

I like his strength of character. Two early clangers in successive games at a new club would see lesser characters have a confidence crisis. He seems to be overcoming those early errors with aplomb. That might be an indication the management team handled those incidents well and contributed to rebuilding any confidence he lost.

It must be tough going into a new club and not starting as well as you hoped but it’s good to read so many positive posts about him. ?
