Boycie got a reaction from TF Ram in Independent Directors on Supporters' Board at DCFC
They won’t represent me!
We need a blow up doll as a director, to represent all the plastic fans. Wayhay! 😂

A large corporate company making large profits and not paying much tax?
I’d be less surprised if he revealed a Tory MP was on the board.

Boycie got a reaction from lrm14 in Dajaune Brown - loan to Gateshead until end of season
In my opinion, if he’s getting 5-10 minutes in the odd game, he might as well be playing in the u21 keeping his confidence up and getting the odd run out for us for 5-10 mins.
I assume they hoped Gateshead would play hIm more?

Yes I’ve heard it’s rough,
We honeymooned there 25 years ago. I’m expecting at least a Lidl and Burger King in town now. 😃

Boycie reacted to Gee SCREAMER !! in Rail travel to games - away or home
I hate trains. They're late, packed, dirty and there's always someone eating a vile sandwich stuffed with egg or onions. In winter the windows are dripping with everyone's breath as the person opposite hacks their flu virus up to add some more.
Trains can feck off.

We tried it once, to a home game. We wanted to get on the Matlock train and it was cancelled. So a packed platform with disgruntled Derby fans then a crammed railcar running an hour late put me off ever doing it again. By the time we got home the dog was crossing his legs!

All public transport should be run for the benefit of, well, the public. Its proven that cheap (or free) public transport is a benefit for the economy as a whole. It goes against the profit driven thinking but people who travel tend to spend money on their way and when they get there.
On race days at Uttoxeter they never put an extra coach on the train service. Its bonkers. There's often fights on the platforms after a race meeting because people can't squeeze on the trains to Derby or Stoke/Crewe. If train companies had to make a profit from customers they'd put an extra coach or two on for a couple of hours before or after each meeting. They obviously get government handouts for their shareholders without having to provide a service to satisfy their customers.

They don’t have extra carriages, that’s the problem with privatisation. They get paid regardless of crap service or not. The operators/investor's even get paid when the staff are out on strike.
We need it back in public ownership and then capacity can be expanded.
Regarding Footie Specials, if the idiots on the white powder can behave themselves then it would be a welcome return. There’s a lot of older stock being replaced soon on the EMR so maybe thought could be put into keeping some for that?
But, again, there’s probably nowhere to store the extra trains at the moment as infrastructure has been cut right back.
I think at least one political party has vowed to nationalise them again.
