TomBustler1884 got a reaction from rynny in The latest from the club via Chris Coles
I wish folk would stop whining about who goes to the Supporters Charter Group.
It is impossible for the club to have an open forum with the entire fanbase. Therefore they approach groups that can represent as many fans as possible. That is why the likes of the Supporters Club, this forum, Punjabi Rams, RamsTrust are invited. It is up to those organisations which individuals go to represent them.
To give transparency, the 1884 Group was invited in the past, and between us we attended. We aren't invited anymore as we aren't active anymore, makes perfect sense.
It's not always a friendly, happy meeting, it can sometimes be awkward and a little tense. The idea that people who go are too intimidated or self interested to ask anything is, quite frankly, insulting and pathetic.
I hope the club aren't asking attendees to sign an NDA on the whole meeting, otherwise its pointless. However, if they are prepared to share details that are under NDA but can still allow attendees to give confiden e to their members, fair enough.

I know we're all deeply frustrated by the lack of communication from the club and the apparent problems we're going to have in the new season due to EFL shenanigans, but my God some of you need to grow up - the club could easily arrange a streamed session where they didn't allow questions and simply presented a carfully worded set of statements that told us nothing. Instead, they're offering to talk to fan respresentatives with the understanding there may be some elements that are sensitive and they don't (at this point) want to make public - and you're all crying like schoolgirls because you can't go to the meeting or becasue someone might find out more than you do......

I hadn’t seen this topic prior to writing a lengthy post. Yes I questioned it, and was given assurances this was not to gag us. Please don’t jump to the worst conclusion.

Buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup, bacon, with a few blueberries to make it healthy.
Sorry @David

TomBustler1884 got a reaction from Rev in Derby County versus Real Betis, 28 July, Pre-Season Friendly
I really want to go but I'm a bit reluctant with having to provide contact details for NHS track and trace.
If they got in touch it would be legal obligation to isolate regardless of if you're positive or not.
Not sure I'm willing to do that at the moment. Very frustrating.

When connections on social media post photos or videos of themselves breaking Covid restrictions.
Vast majority are managing to avoid having a party with mates on a Saturday night, if you've decided you're a special case, maybe don't broadcast it across Instagram?

TomBustler1884 got a reaction from rynny in City of Culture
Becketwell is underway.
I think we have a good chance of winning to be honest. There is a lot going on culturally in Derby if you can be bothered to look for it. We're clearly missing a proper performance venue but that will change by 2025 with the one going on Becketwell.
I think the city centre will be a very different place in 2025 and using the City of Culture to relaunch it is a great idea.

TomBustler1884 got a reaction from Van der MoodHoover in EFL Verdict
Mistyped, I meant -12. My assumption was on the track record of the EFL, they'll go for as much as they possibly can, then we're back on to the neverending cycle of appeals again to say any more stability out of the club

TomBustler1884 got a reaction from BPV in EFL Verdict
Dreading the Euros ending and having to come back to DCFC. Between the club, the takeover and the EFL, my interest just isn't there.

Just getting fed up with Derby County as a whole at the moment, but mainly the EFL.
I am trying not to sound like a man child at this point but they are genuinely ruining my interest in Football. Reading this statement whilst sat at work, is just mind blowing? The time of it as well is staggering to say the least. Genuinely can’t be bothered with bad news anymore regarding a club I love.

TomBustler1884 reacted to Angry Ram in Rams Trust: A Letter to the Club
It's only a letter. Why are we all getting precious about a word?
Morris will know it's not 100% reflective of the fanbase.
It will get ignored anyway.
