A shirt that is a privilege to add to the collection, our brave captains shirt from the amazing promotion season of 1985-86 from division three, the start of the DCFC rebuild under Arthur Cox, a brave player who lead by example on the pitch RIP Rob Hindmarch.#dcfcfans

I don't think that any manager or player will look at a club's distant past. They will be thinking of the next 1, 2, maybe 5 years. The very recent past should serve as a guide as to where each of the clubs may be within that timeframe. Looking at Brighton, they are an established (recent) Premier club. If they are run correctly they should at least stay that way. Forest have just been promoted. Recent history shows that most clubs yo-yo for a few seasons before either becoming established or fading away. I'm sure Cooper thinks that he can keep Forest up, but he will also think that he can take Brighton to the next level and that would be much sooner than he could achieve with Forest.

8 points for a draw. They seem to have lost a point somewhere. The ECB love a points deduction. They had 2 taken off in the T20, I don’t recall anything for the championship though.

A member of this very forum has donated his Season Ticket until Christmas. A very nice gesture from a very nice young chap who has gone to see if he can make his fortune elsewhere for a few months.
I've not got his permission to tell you who it is so you'll just have to guess, unless you have incider information.

Pictured in the afternoon for his promo shoot and yet announced less than an hour before the deadline. It just goes to show how long the paperwork etc can take. Either that or the club likes to make fans nervous!

I've still got my Commodore Vic 20, complete with games and cassette deck with knob and signal lights to adjust the tape head. Twenty minutes of beep, burp, beep, beep whir and then an error message was an absolute buggar.

Years ago I remember a front cover of Shortlist Magazine headlined "The Rise of the Beta Male". Among their examples were Chis Martin and Mark Zuckerberg, two guys at the top of their industries with zero charisma or vision. I think the lead singer of Keane was there too, unless that was "The New Beige" (which was another cover featuring Adele and Chris Martin again. Probably Ed Sheeran too). The ironic thing about the show the X-Factor was it was only interested in people who could sing and were pliable enough to be packaged - none of the winners ever had the X-Factor - and that seems so much of the music business now, very much including dullard Chris.
But @i-Ramis right there were decent songs on the first two albums. I did see them play Glastonbury in 2002 and it was an OK gig, but not bothered with them since: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/coldplay/2002/worthy-farm-pilton-england-73d65ebd.html
But although they're not for me, I hope @richinspainhas an absolutely fantastic birthday time.
