A little unfair don't you think. Hopefully it's a joke, but still not something that should be implied.

ps I am not and don't think ever will be a prude, snowflake or any other description of someone who finds everything offensive.

I'm hiding in here from 2 kids.

Very long story short, we are the great aunt and uncle of 2 young boys, Noah (3), Logan (2).

We was approached about becoming guardians for them as their parents are separated and neither in a situation to offer them a stable home.

Was no way we could see them go into care so here they are. Currently with us under a section 20 agreement although we expect it to go through to a SGO order in time where they will stay with us until they are 18.

Last few weeks been a whirlwind, through work and these I've missed the last two games, so I'm in here hiding from those pair that are giving me full calorie burning sessions. 😂

Best of luck to you both. Becoming parents is very traumatic when you have 9 months to prepare for the moment. Having 2 very young kids thrust upon you must be very difficult. I do however salute you both for your commitment and wish you all the very best for the future. Well done @David and your very understanding wife.

  3. What most pleased me when I read the OP was who had posted it. @i-Ram has been very vocal on his thoughts about Warne. He does however recognise that David Clowes made a football decision with the best of intentions. Hindsight is wonderful as always. I am sure that he is more frustrated than an other supporter (even B4!), but he will surely be trying to achieve the best for the club within the financial constraints that are in place.

But is that more down to the other players in that list stepping up? Brannagan for example has been back to his best, Jordan Rhodes has dropped down a league and ripping it up.

For me Cashin was shaky for the first few games as the team were but has been consistent recently and back towards his best as he was always going to, form is temporary class is permanent. Him and Wilson have become a formidable partnership, the latter IMO being an early POTY shout.

Really hope we can keep Cash and Bird in January. They’re critical to our chances this season.

I presume you mean him and Nelson, but I agree (if that's the case).

If any fans could be classed as "entitled", it's the Everton lot.

Felt so sorry for the genuine fan: Bill Kenwright, who suffered so much abuse.

He's out of it now. RIP Bill

It's not taken long for some of ours to start questioning David Clowes' first important decision.

Anyway, RIP Bill Kenwright. A true Toffees supporter.

Wildsmith didn't have to save the two (or more) chances from their no9. Twice he was free in the box and his finishing was awful.

So poor finishing on both sides. I wonder if their aim for the season is promotion?

I'm in no way saying that we played well. I would class myself as a happy clapper, and I couldn't understand why I watched the whole game until the end. We were utterly dreadful, but ignoring poor finishing from both sides their keeper made more saves than ours.

They missed more chances and our goalkeeper was excellent. The football was crap.

I would say that Wildsmith made the more impressive saves, but I would say that their keeper made more saves. I don't know if the latter is down to him having a good day, or our finishing being poor.

My brother went and he said similar: "terrible performance, some people were saying it was the worst under Warne, although I'm sure that I've seen worse. Blackpool at home in the League Cup & Cheltenham away recently spring immediately to mind".

Thank God it wasn't the worst performance under Warne. We've still got wriggle room to get there! 🥷

Met him many years ago and when I told him I supported the Rams he was very complimentary about Jim Smith and said he should have been involved with the England team in some coaching capacity. A one off and I hope there is a minutes applause tomorrow night. Greatest ever English player.

Isn't it our first home game since Franny passed away as well?

It's been reallybad here in Chesterfield today with almost every road across the town under water, closed or impassable. There are plenty of photos/videos online showing the scale of it. My 87 year old mum rang me from Clay Cross at 9am in a panic to tell me water was coming into her garden, by the time I got there 25 mins later the road was under water and waist deep in her house with her trapped upstairs. I managed to get her out with the help of a neighbour and it took me 4 hours to get her to my house in chesterfield. I'm not looking forward to what I'm going to find tomorrow when I can get back there!

My mum and sister live in Glapwell. Mum told me yesterday that it was really bad around there, and that their garden was flooded.

It also encourages ticketbuyers to look at venues' extortionate premium packages when they wouldnt otherwise. They could just not allow resale until say a month before as would be ok for genuine resellers but touts couldnt afford to fund all their stock that long. I know there are more important things in the world but just another area where ord people are ripped off. Dont start me on London theatre pricing also!

We paid 170€ on the official site for tickets to see Coldplay (yes, I know......) in Barcelona in May that were in the same area as tickets for 105€ on first release. It's a complete ripoff, but unfortunately it's the only way to be sure that you will receive official tickets that haven't been sold 4 or 5 times over already. There were some people being turned away because the number on their ticket had already entered the stadium.

We did alright under Rowett .  Ledley, Johnson, Winnall and Jerome kicking crap out of everyone with a bit of Vydra tearing people apart. He also quickly noted how dross Butterfield was.  I'd take it now. We scored goals and even outmuscled Warnocks goons. Warne would love Nugent in this team.

I imagine he is a free agent. There's still time!
