I'd probably avoid any and all options involving shyte, to be fair.
How about "going about your business" in the usual way, and getting on with life? It's only a game!

No surprise. How much are they paying Wing as he had championship offers. Madness
I think it's more a case of how much they're not paying him, hence the embargoes 🤪

I actually have a recollection it happened on my birthday, which is in March! (Typical...)

End of the season Saunders £2.9 million and Wright £2.3 million left for Liverpool to pay off Mr Maxwell and we were relegated finishing bottom.
Strange how one's memory plays tricks on you. I could have sworn it was the last game, or perhaps after that thrashing I just can't remember any other games that season 😂

Well it's Liverpool and I think it was in the second half of the season, so I'll say 1991?
Wasn't it the last game of the season (certainly home game), and therefor the last games for Wright and Saunders?

I'd like him to say so publicly. And in some detail and in a way that we can tell he means it. If he did I would get behind him
Hasn't he said several times that he wants to introduce the young players, but only when he feels that they are truly ready? He does have them training with the fisrt team, he names them in matchday squads and on the bench. Those experiences can be just as, if not more beneficial, than being thrown into a situation where they probably aren't going to have a possitive effect.

So we're managed 2 more points than Pompey over 7 games and we have 29 to play, so at that rate we should gather a little over 8more points than them....

Up we jolly well go then!*😁
*Providing Pompey would otherwise had finished in the top two! 👀
It's a good job you asked today. They lost yesterday and we won, so before the games we were actually a point worse off.
Anyway, we're now two points better off, so yea, look out pompy, we're coming for you

Clowes won’t sanction this move unless the price runs to 7 figures. He needs to tell them all to get stuffed.
*cough*cough* £13000000 are eight figures

I was thinking the same. Mel probably told him there was loads of money to spend at first, then told him we were skint at the end of the season.
Maybe he had Lampard already lined up and was glad Rowett left. Or Lamps/Redknapp persuaded Mel to go for broke. It nearly worked.
Well, that's certainly true!

We are getting results now. Maybe performances will improve but I don’t think I have ever felt so little confidence in or interest in a manager or group of players as I do now. I can’t wait to see the back of Collins in particular, I hate him with a passion. But I can’t stand the sight of Smith, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, Washington, Waghorn, Forsyth, Mendez Laing and most of all Sonny bloody Bradley. I want to see the lot of them cleared out in the summer and to be honest I won’t cry a river to see Cashin, Bird and Sibley go as well. Bored to tears with the lot of them. A clean start is what we need, just hope it’s with a new manager as well
I love Sunday mornings after a win me

If it wasn't for the fact this was quelled in the past day or so, it'd be rendered irrelevant.
I'm all for romance, and It was a nice emotionally charged idea at the time, but given the timescale involved to reach this decision, the right decision was made.
Rooney himself reputedly... and fairly... responded thus:
"The Freedom of Derby? Was I meant to get the Freedom of Derby?” said Rooney.
“I had a great time at Derby under difficult circumstances. I never expected to get the freedom of the place. I respect the football club, I respect the fans, but there are a lot more people who deserve the Freedom of Derby more than I do.”Too true, Wayne.
Cheers, 'n all that. 👍But does he know that without it he can't legally lead his flock of sheep through the streets of Derby?

Southampton sold a bog standard midfield player with 25 games under his belt for £50 million - the same price as DCFC . How can that be sustainable ?
3 hours ago, Ghost of Clough said:1 year after buying him from Man City for £20m. 2 first team games for Man City, 34 games in all competitions for Southampton
I know that we have to aspire to being in the Premier League, but it's numbers like those that make me think that it really isn't worth all the hassle. Forest fans will be saying that they're loving it, but it really must be a little depressing knowing that the best you can hope for is to float around mid table at best and have a few decent cup runs if you're lucky.

Hopefully a snitch will have the emergency services informed. I don't think they would be able to cope with a mass breakout of arthritis!

I don't understand why someone who's tall has to be good in the air. He's got a few inches of advantage, but that doesn't mean he's going to use that advantage. If he can't judge the flight of the ball it makes no difference if he's 6'5" or 5'6".
