We'll be lucky to get half of that. We are in the mire and every other club knows it. Anything in the region of 5 million and he is off.
I highly doubt we will be getting the maximum value from any outgoings.

Rample reacted to cheron85 in Joe piggott - joined Ipswich
Yeh but he's probably leaving to try and get a higher level of football...

Rample got a reaction from jimtastic56 in when can we expect the player retained list?
Players will have to have been notified last week at the latest if contracts are being offered or not.
Announcement will be imminent, details will start leaking out anyway if not. Its in Wisdom, Waghorn etcs interests to get their names circulated asap if being released.

Rample reacted to LeedsCityRam in Ancellotti to Real
To any Everton fans dropping by & wondering how Rooney has got on;
1. Great results...we were absolutely cast adrift at the bottom (2 points) with a mere 35 games to go & he kept us up! AMAZING
2. Great football...I once saw 4 passes strung together in a game. TIKA TAKA
3. Great at blooding the kids. Louie Sibley credits him with being the player he's become. GURU
4. Tactical svengali. Bit worried about City's pass & move or Liverpool's gegenpress? Dont be! Rooney will just copy the oppo...job done! GENIUS
Makes sense Everton, get the boy wonder home ?

Rample reacted to RadioactiveWaste in The letter: A follow up Poll
I've no problem with the letter, I've no problem with it being "on behalf of DCFC supporters".
I would just have pretty reasonable expectations about what it might achieve.
When the answer to most of the points raised is a combination of "don't know" "we're working on that" "nothing is set in stone yet" "we really can't discuss that in a public space right now" - there is very little to be gained from a totally honest, transparent and open statement of "we don't know, we're working on it, nothing is set in stone and there are things we cannot discuss publicly at this time".
I would make a exception to that on the ST refunds - that should've been sorted a long time ago and is something that any business should be able to perform and communicate clearly on.

Rample reacted to Dimmu in Summer 2021 Transfer Window - Suggestion Thread
Corry Evans is being released from Blackburn. He could do a job as DM before Bielik is fit.
Underrated player IMO. Of course, if we continue with 4-4-2, he'd be pretty useless

I think the players Bristol City released are pretty crap.
Doesn't mean they wouldn't strenghten us though.

Rample got a reaction from Andrew3000 in Summer 2021 Transfer Window - Suggestion Thread
Wednesday fans all seem glad to be seeing the back of him.
Fletcher is a consistant 1 in 4 striker, could do worse, but we really need to be looking at a 1 in 3 as our main striker.
Josh Knight, 23 year old centre half just had a really consistent season on loan from Leicester to Wycombe and about to be released. Someone young and hungry, but not naive.

If anyone had said that at any point up until March I wouldn't have believed it.
Credit to them for battling. Bet their fans are at least proud of their players. Quality definitely a factor, attitude not in question.

Its mental to think we could finish on the same number of points as wycombe when they win on the last day and we get beat

£2m? That's far more than I expected them to be worth, more money than I could hve dreamed for. Wooooo!
...it's a bit like an episode of Antiques Roadshow though isn't it? Take some piece of tat that's been in your family for generations and holds a little sentimental value. You think it could be worth 20, 30 quid, the auctioneer has news for you though - it's actually worth £150! Wow everybody, that's amazing, what a surprise.
"What are you going to spend the money on?" asks the host.
After a few seconds thought, you're strugggling to name anything significant or worthwhile you could actually get for £150 in 2021, so you stand there mouth agape before spluttering out the first thing that comes to mind "Errrrm, I dunno, maybe put it towards a Fitbit or something?"
...and everyone applauds, marvellous.

Preston & Blackburn goals would turn today into a pretty decent one, all things considered.

Rample got a reaction from Scrumpyram in Louie Sibley
Overlooking Sibley when we can scarcely score remains criminal.
He is one of, if not the only player, seemingly capable of pulling out a goal from nowhere.
Fitting him in shouldn't be an issue as he can play central, attacking or wide as needed.
If Rooney's going to start looking at Lawrence being the saviour in a game or 2 it's difficult to see what he brings that Sibley can't.
Rooney saw the hattrick V Millwall first hand, and you would have thought from his career that he'd have an appreciation for a Scholes/Gerrard/Lampard type.

As opposed to the experienced Waggy who has recently been sent off twice ?
-
Rample reacted to DCFC1976 in Louie Sibley
Absolutely, in the Birmingham game he played left side which wasn’t ideal but I think he had about 4 shots at goal in the first half and was prepared to run at his marker and take him on. None of that happened last night apart from Buchanan on a couple of occasions!

Just realised Roberts (like Gregory) is out of contract in the summer.
