Maybe last time we were this bad I was 10 or 11 and football was relatively new. The relegation scraps were good then. Oh and we signed Bobby Davison.

Sounds like a good weekend unfortunately I can keep telling my missus she needs to work a few weekends extra while I trot off to Carlisle to watch Derby.

Why does it feel like I’m watching the worst football I’ve ever seen?

I think it’s a good idea having a poll every game. Gives you an idea whether the results are more important to people than the performance.

I have been lucky enough to have had my soulmate for almost 38 years now... over 26 of them as man & wife.
Literally nothing would fill me with more dread than having to spend just one solitarily minute without her as the biggest part of my life.  My soul, my heart, my every breath.

I have known personal tragedy of course, as have many of us, and indeed have bore witness to my own father suffering precisely what you are now going through yourself, albeit many years ago now.

But to imagine having to suffer a tragedy such as this myself, remains unthinkable.

If I had a couple of pints with my breakfast while working in the stock exchange would be the perfect conditions for the next financial crisis.

Back in the late 1980's/early 1990's, I used to work at the Stock Exchange, and we used to have a 'team breakfast' there once every couple of months. The pub had a 'special' licence which allowed them to open at 7:00 am.
A huge plate of sausages, bacon, black pudding etc, washed down with a couple of pints of Fullers ESB - the perfect way to start the working week.

It's quite an unpleasant forum on here sometimes isn't it.
The blokes doing his job,has some time off for unknown reasons and gets personally slagged off by fellow derby supporters whilst he does so.
 
 
 
 

Not seen the match today but people haven’t spoke well of the performance. 
I’m in two minds whether to think we were lucky to win or we won when we weren’t at our best. I’m going with the latter.

Looking at the league results tonight it is crying out for someone to take the bull by the horns.

We just pass it straight to the opposition now.

The number of good characters in the dressing room has increased dramatically. They can't play football together very well, but in training they have a right laugh with each other.

We are living up to our league one status. We have hit the level and I can honestly say the performance was rubbish.

Defending is diabolical. We just hoof it out straight back to the opposition inviting them back to us. It is terrible.

Problem is a half decent team would have got 9 points from them games.

It’s an out from me. Even if we had won today the performance was woeful. People won’t pay to watch that crap.
