I have to say, when derby aren't on TV or down to have the game shown anywhere, I genuinely feel like my day has been completely ruined before it's started. 
Today is looking like 1 of those days.

I've got to say... apart from a big horrible cdm, getting a replacement striker for Collins (who'd I'd happily let go regardless of his goals) I would honestly love to see us put a bit of trust in our young players. We look like we have got some gems in there! The young lad Fatapu (spelling?) Was outstanding that first half with the confidence to match. The 2nd half there was that many good performances from the youngsters, I couldn't falt them. Robinson at the back was solid,Weston looked lively with a good finish, Wilson was top draw too, my personal MOTM.
Future looks bright!

In the position we are in, lacking goals, finishing off the chances we create, and nearly 2 months off the transfer window, would you stick with the experience in the likes of  Collins/Waggy/Wash? or would you be happy to take a risk in pushing our youth players like Brown where it might take them a few games to bed in but could potentially be better than all the others we have?
Just wondering where the rest of you stand?
For me, I'd much rather take the risk with Brown, seeing as Warne has stipulated goals need to be spread out across the team and we don't have a nailed on goal scorer. It seems like the perfect time to trying out new options.

Youth. 
One of the huge issues with our team is a lack of pace and athleticism. We lack it in so many areas, even NML who is quick is getting on in his career so can’t maintain for 90mins. Warne preached pressing in pre-season and we basically never do it because of this. It’s also why Thompson looked so good before he got injured, all because he could run. 
So, couple this issue with the fact fans are generally a lot, lot more patient with youth players than the same old retreads getting yet another try at it. Can we not see Darren Robinson instead of Korey Smith, for example? It was completely ludicrous that Brown had to wait to come on midweek to see Collins trot around for a bit. 

I will definitely agree with that. Its a shame because these are the games that the youth should be playing in. What's worrying is we played the winning team from last game against the league below, and was playing (up until last knockings) like we hadn't scored all season. So frustrating. But I would love to see Brown get a run of games and make the most of his potential. We're not exactly flying with goals in that department either 🙃

Warne isn't a risk taker, he's a plodder. We needed goals today (only a Cup game after all) and at no time did I think he'd bring Brown on. 

I don't give a poo about losing in the cup tbh, but what I do care about is the lack of opportunity Brown is getting, when really, this is the exact type of games he should playing in, especially ahead of Collins. 
 
The potential of Brown completely supasses anything Collins could dream to be considering his form at youth level (if guided right) , but yet Warne favours Collins continously, does my head in.
 
We lack natural finishers in our team and its painful to watch. Really don't see how we can improve that unless we break our small bank in January, get rid of Collins and attempt to sign a goal scorer in which we should of done in the summer to replace the one we lost.

How are you lot feeling about Wayne Rooney going to Birmingham and claiming he wants to sign Cashin?
Do you think Brum have made the right move to get them to the next level or do you think they've made an error?
For me, I'm slightly jealous because I don't think (due to our financial constraints) that Rooney was able to pull the strings he wanted to in bringing in players he wanted. I really hope he doesn't sign Cashin (unless it's for a stupid fee) but I do have a slight feeling he will want to go.
I actually have a soft spot for Rooney and think he did a great job in rallying the troops in our fight against relegation but I just don't want to see him do well at Brum, am I a bad person or does anyone else feel the same? 🤣

He's the one who's able to intricately get throw 2-3 players with genuine intent to score, not many players can do that. NML is great with turf ahead of him, Wilson can do it but has Dobbin levels of finishing, long story short, Sibs is the only one capable.
Due to Collins needing everything on a plate, we need those players who can create goals out of nothing, and sibs does just that.
Regardless of not winning the game by a substantial margin, I just hope sibs has got some confidence from this and takes it into the league where it really matters.

Collins is absolutely horrendous. I think I've seen him play 1 decent 1-2 after nearly half hour. Worst link up striker ever.

I'm a realist. I am Collins biggest critic, but he did well that second half. Can we get a better striker than him? Absolutely. But I'll take my hat off where it's due, he linked up well in the 2nd half and took his goal well. NML was far too deep and unused in the first half at times, but honestly, I don't care about any technical assessment, I'm just happy to see us play well in the 2nd half, score some good goals, and most importantly, get the 3 points.
 
Fornah, Niambe and Cash were unreal. As was everyone at times.
