Hoping to come to this one. My first of the season. Of course Bradley Johnson will score, but I’m hoping we’ll win this one.
If we’re gonna climb out of the hole then we need to beat teams like this at home.

Stripperg-ram reacted to Van der MoodHoover in MoodHoovers Miekle Moments
Today was 2nd inoculation day so he's been a little subdued but coming back round.
Growing quickly at around 1kg per week. Toilet training is a bit hit and miss and the 5am starts are a bit of a trial.
He's been to a local factory and has a trip lined up at the local primary school. All good ?

He tweeted a ram after the game at the weekend but not seen anything from him other than that. Hope he’s ok

Know this is slightly off topic, but anyone know what’s happened to Ryan Conway on Twitter? He’s been silent for weeks and really liked his take/match day commentary on the club.
cheers

It’s something I’ve internally struggled with for a few years now, pre Covid and the EFL/Mel troubles…and maybe not just a Derby thing, but football on the whole, I just don’t get as excited as I used to.
Maybe it’s getting older. I became a dad recently too, so a bit more pipe and slippers. I actually prefer listening to the game on RD than going.
The thing that comes to mind is the Mitchell and Webb sketch where David Mitchell implies, by way of a faux Sky ad, that Football never really ends - and I feel that a lot. Sky and the digital age mean it’s information overload
I also feel a bit spent from Mclaren’s first spell. That was like football heroin. The highest high. Not just the football, but the ease and rate in which Cloughs neatly assembled, but fits and starts team - became so entertaining and alluring so quickly. Still in hangover from that. ‘Why can’t we always improve that quickly’……?
it might just be me. Don’t wanna be an eeyore. But in answer to the post, to some people (I.e me) it’s not just Covid, or the precarious nature of the club that’s stopping me from going.
But I’m a fickle sod, so if Jags comes into a back 3 on Wednesday and we start playing like PSG then I’ll start to waver….??

Is Bolder in for the season or will Eric be back? I like Steel, but I’d prefer him to be coaching our keepers.

Is this the thread to mention that Bobby Duncan’s Instagram account has vanished all references to Derby. So he might be off too…?

Stripperg-ram got a reaction from jono in What would McClaren do with this team?
I’d rather have Bielik in the ‘Thorne’ role. Shinnie as the Bryson and then take ya pick for the Hughes role (Knight, Sibley, Holmes?)
Other than the gaping void that is Chris Martin. What we currently have is much better strength in depth than we had when Steve first came in. When Hughes or Martin or Thorne/Eustace were out for a month or 2 we had v little back up. Whereas now we do have many more options. Would love to see him get the best out of this lot. But I’m also mindful of his shortcomings.
