Knight is a funny one as he didn't have much of an impact when he played midfield,  how many games was he central? He's been replaced as a right back/rwb, which also frees Smith to play central mid and we aren't likely to play with wide midfielders.
The only thing we lose with Knight is his energy, but Washington will replace a lot of that, Smith also covers a lot of ground in midfield and Bird has been let of the leash and looks fitter than ever, look at the goals against Stoke and Birds involvement and tell me you'd still rather Knight play in that role, because I wouldn't.

I think it is designed for the average supporter to wear, which will straighten it all out so it is a proper checked pattern once we've stretched it into shape.....

Amazed at how Jeremy Keith and Murdo MacLeod of the 3 amigos seem to have been overlooked for ownership and DoF..... 
How they took over, what they did, the state they left us in everything about their reign, zero redeeming factors.

Because, if we do indeed want Rhodes, it's because he's a known good finisher - it's literally his prime attribute. Whereas Waghorn needs roughly 27 chances to perhaps shin one in off a defender.

Now why would he still be training at Championship Huddersfield if he's not good enough for little 'ol league 1 Derby County? (According to some.....)
As has been said previously, it seems that until they have a replacement they see him as part of their plans, which makes perfect sense as why leave yourself short? In which case, he needs to build his fitness like every other player, including getting game time to get match fit.
If he does come, I'm glad he's going to be fit, if he gets injured he still has a contract at Huddersfield so no loss to him, he could come and get injured in the 1st training session here !

Number 6 is a very mis-informed point. His Rotherham sides that have been previously promoted have frequently pumped teams 3,4 and 5 and been the highest scoring teams in the league.
There is a bit of a myth in football nowadays that pretty and exciting football is passing around the back and having a million touches before the ball goes into the net. I would much rather watch my side get the ball forward quickly, be more direct and play more aggressive football. I would enjoy my Saturday evening pints after watching us score lots of goals in that manner whether people find this 'attractive' or not.
I think a lot of fans are mis-diagnosing last season as Warneball when we quite frankly, didn't have the tools to do it and he said on a number on occasions that he wasn't happy with how we were playing and it isn't what we wants to see from his side.
Judge him from this season and quote me if you want. We will get promoted this year and we will score lots of goals.

A bit surprised at how dismissive some comments are of the rest of the league.
Why will Barnsley (dont expect a points deduction,  just slap on wrist), Bolton, Peterborough (always have the knack of replacing the players they sell) Wycombe be any worse than last season?
Portsmouth (great form at end of last season) and Charlton (got in one of the best strikers in the league according to some on here) always have the potential to be a challenge, then the unknowns of the teams coming down, they have the majority of their squads from last year still don't they? And Reading now allowed to bring players in, plus the promoted teams could get on a roll, winning is a habit so if any of them get a good start who knows?
Who'd have thought Plymouth would have been up there last season? There's always 1 team that surprises, maybe an Oxford or even Burton (they heave been building a decent squad and had a half decent 2nd half of last year).
Of course, don't forget we will be the biggest scalp this season by a mile, no Ipswich or Sheff Wed means everyone will be looking to their games against us as their cup finals and we saw how teams raised their games last year, expect it even more this, along with the potential for unconscious bias from refs overcompensating whilst trying NOT to be swayed by our status and size of crowd.....
I can see the potential for a lot of low scoring attritional games, so it is important we stay behind the team and give them the support they will need to keep going against supposedly inferior opposition,  don't get frustrated,  don't get on their backs and slag off the players and management at the 1st sign of things not going to plan - wishful thinking I know!
But, over the 9 months, I expect us to be top 6, top 2 will depend on how well the others do with everyone elses focus on us (again, remind you of Plymouth going up automatically ahead of Sheff Wed! )
