I reckon ‘that’ team would have stayed up this year. Teams don’t defend as well anymore, Earnshaw and Miller would have bagged enough goals

Very sad news. A great commentator regardless of his Rams connection. Condolences to his family if any are on here reading this. He was much loved across the footballing world.
To show his connection with us, here's the great man backing Pride Park to be one of the World Cup stadiums for the 2018 England bid to host the tournament. RIP.

It was criminal - and the timewasting Forest tw*t fancied a bit of compo on the back of it. I imagine it's how most of them make their living. What a bunch of scumbags they are. Thick, grifting, and completely unaware of how most football supporters see them.

It also acquired the Pride Park Stadium from the former owner in a separate company. "As a major investor and property owner in the East Midlands, the directors considered that the potential liquidation of the local city football club was not in the best interests of the group or those of the city of Derby itself.
The group considered it had a corporate social responsibility to the local economy of Derby and could not stand by and let the football club fail. "The directors consider that this is a medium-term investment to return the football club to stability and add significant value to the initial cost of circa £60m."

It’s a disgusting result. An absolute shambles, but this isn’t a great football team so it isn’t a surprise.
This is the worst Derby County side in the club’s 138 history. We need to acknowledge that and adjust our expectations.

We are stuck with Warne and this squad. This could be a tough watch.
Additionally I take umbrage with Warne’s post match comments that Sibley is ‘the worst tackler he’s ever seen’.
So why then did you move him to LWB after the Chester injury? A nonsense managerial decision and not Sibley’s fault. Play to people’s strengths. What’s next? Play him in goal and berate him for being s*** at coming for crosses?
