Me publicly:
Good luck Liam, glad you're doing well and taken your opportunity at Hull. Some great football and cracking results. We've got league one Pep, everybody is happy.

If Ed didn't moan about referees so much and focused on the match, I don't think he'd get half the stick.
Loves Derby, did everything he could to report the latest news in our darkest hour, even if it was bloody difficult to get anywhere with those useless administrators.
Hope you're doing well Ed 👍

Away victories are very difficult to critique so we might as well just enjoy the fact the away form so far has been very good. Do I want the football to be better? Hell yes. I get the feeling the Vickers situation might have played on the minds of the squad, they're human beings.
I think we all know we were garbage for 90% of the match. 2-0 away, I'd take that any day of the week regardless of who we're playing.

Why people slate Collins I'll never know. He's a great striker in league one. Given him all the confidence in the world 🐏

I think today sums up a year of Paul Warne.
Play absolutely horrible for 80 minutes, somehow bag a couple of goals due to the sheer quality on paper.
Away from home I couldn't care less though. 3 points is always a good result.

Tactical analysis of the 2nd half so far.

I do get the feeling Eric isn't a big fan of Warne. Never heard him so critical about the Rams. And I agree with the majority of his opinions.

Sloppy slop slop passing. Cmon Derby.

Good job Carlisle went to Hourihane Corner School 😉
And the football gods saved Wildsmith. Straight through the fingers, thank you crossbar.

Some more play on the green grass just like Tuesday night 👍 simple. I think that might win a few more folks over.

"Yeah.... that'll do"
Sums up his first year.

I'm all for electric vehicles, if more money was spent building the infrastructure necessary to be at the same convenience as a petrol/diesel car. Living on a terrace street for the example, where are you meant to charge the vehicles? Do we go and park in a designated charging area for 10-15 minutes then drive home?
Let's not forget petrol and diesel won't just disappear off the streets, even when the ban does come into force, they'll be a mix for another 5-10 years afterwards. We might even see Hydrogen cars come into the market, if the price of developing these cars went down

More of the same from Tuesday. I was really pleased with how we played and the goals were brilliant. Hopefully this will show the manager that the team can play some more football on the grass. Had the athleticism which PW is looking for plus the better possession based style. I hope we can build on it and not go back to old habits.

Typical of two teams with a cautious style. At least we've tried to use the ball more tonight, no real edge yet. Could have scored early on.

Copied over.
Hands are tied behind our backs because we offered Warne a nice juicy contract to tempt him to join our club. As much as I can't stand the football being offered, I believe we have little choice other than to keep him until the end of the season unless we fell well away from the top 6. I also believe Warne seems to be the type of chap who would walk away from a job if he felt he was not delivering his aims.
I personally don't like his recruitment policy of buying older players on bigger contracts. I've seen it too many times over the years where we've bought too many twilight career footballers and feeling more disappointed when they are not performing well. The balance of the squad doesn't look right to me. The best teams I've always seen have a good blend of youth, prime and experienced players. We have too many over or approaching 30. I've never believed in the "experience buys promotion" idea. Has it ever worked for Derby in the past? It only seems to result in a bloated wage budget and not being able to shift people along.
The Waggy situation has annoyed me and provides more doubts about PW. I'm really glad the player is back and we are lucky to have brought him in after what happened originally, our manager outright dismissing him at the first opportunity. It makes me wonder how many good players have we may have missed out on because Warne prejudged their character. To say he's a people person, why would you flat out refuse a player of that calibre and not speak to them about their situation. That fortunate piece of luck has already saved the manager from more criticism.
Ultimately he just isn't the manager for me. I can completely understand why our owner went for someone like Warne. On paper he's a great fit. Unfortunately now we've digged deeper into his playing style, tactical (or lack of) knowledge and recruitment policy, I don't think he is the right fit for the club.

We never had a bigger defeat than a 6-0?
Come on, this has got to be the year surely!
