Anyone else see Keogh in the aftermath of the penalty? Was simultaneously trying to...
    1. Celebrate with his teammates
    2. Not celebrate with his teammates too much
    3. Move his celebrating teammates away from the Derby fans
    4. Apologise to the Derby fans for his teammates celebrating in front of them by applauding the crowd and giving the "calm down" gesture
Poor fella didn't know what to do with himself 😄

Had 24 hours to think it over and I think I have now given up on the Warne appointment.
I was fully behind replacing Rosenior with him at the time. I saw in him a manager with knowledge of the division, multiple promotions and the sort of attitude that would motivate.
What we’ve ended up with is a string of poor signings, an underdog mentality and a playing style that actively makes me switch off. I also have found his attitude towards Radio Derby and us as supporters to be disappointing.
It hasn’t worked and I don’t think it’s going to.
At this point I would rather see us make a change now rather than potentially waste more of this season trying to make this work.

So you don’t set up the team in a way that requires them to mix it to win. You set up so those guys pass the other team to death.

Whatever happens now and notwithstanding his stated aim to do some work with the media, I'd love to see Curtis back at the club in some form of coaching role. He's such a rarity in modern football and I think more like him are needed to guide and shape the future at a time where fans are falling out of love with game. He's as honest, loyal and intelligent a player as you could wish to meet, but also an absolute warrior without ever being outright thuggish. I've all kinds of respect for the man.

Standing back and reviewing dispassionately, we didn’t capitulate, we gave them a game, we made a silly mistake and that was that.
I’d have accepted top 10 at the start of the season. We made that. We had some fun

Well I thought it was a definite penalty and a deserved red card. Their forward has the ball at his feet in the box with the keeper way off his line. He was past Davies and I expected him to score, but Curtis reached forward and pulled him back to prevent him shooting at goal. Yes, their player went down very easily, but the foul had already been committed. We would all have been screaming for the same decision if roles had been reversed.
With all the pathetic penalties given these days for minor handballs ir fouls when there was no danger of a goal, at least this was for a clear goalscoring opportunity.
We've played well though and should have equalised too. We can easily get a goal.

Shows what the club means to this city. Just looking on twitter and forums, the outpouring of emotion, people have suffered for this. The action of one man nearly brought the club to it knees. The action of 20,000 + and one man with the finances and determination has saved this club.
Tonight isn't about the "having a party when derby die" brigade and the posters on here who reveled in our potential demise. It's about, you, me, or fathers and mothers who raised us Derby and our children who we did the same.
Whatever happens next season. Whoever pulls on the shirt. Whatever the results may be, the person sat next to me, the person stood waiting at the bar pre match, the person asking for onions on their burger, the kid in full replica kit, the old boy remembering reg Carter, are all Derby. This is our club. We have a future. I intent to enjoy every minute of it.

Gibson? Hmmm, alright for reminiscing about 'the good old days' but I think RD need someone a bit more dynamic if they want folks to listen to the programme. Chris Coles is an excellent presenter and it's no surprise he is moving onwards and upwards. Best of luck to him!

I think there will be a lot of gentleman agreements with Rooney where he says, sign up, give us a year to see if we can bounce straight back, if we dont and a good enough offer comes in then you have his blessing to move on

I'd love all these players to stay but lets face it, the reality is this :
Contracts will end on 30 June (I think) and players will go on holiday after our last game in May so will stop training together Whilst they are away they will rely on their agents to make sure that they have a salary from 1st July & if Derby haven't been taken over they will understandably worry. Plus their agents won't care about Derby, they'll have a chance of a cut of a signing on fee elsewhere Next season starts incredibly early due to the World Cup - 30 July - so players will need to be training again by the end of June Remember when Rooney was told by the administrators that no players will be leaving in January - & then several left
In the meantime, the hope is that CK will convince them that the takeover will definitely happen but if it was you and you were offered a 3 year contract elsewhere starting 1 July or you could wait on the off chance that Derby can give you a contract, for a yet to be determined salary, what would you do ?
This takeover needs to happen fast. Each week that passes, even each day that passes, increases the risk that a player will leave

It's not all about money either. You couldn't blame anyone wanting to play at a higher level.
    Football careers are short.
I wouldn't be annoyed at anyone leaving. I think we should all be grateful for their fantastic efforts this season. None of them owe us anything.

What are the EFL actually going to do, though? It's not a shot at them, but ultimately what is the alternative. If we say we don't have funding until the end of the season without a preferred bidder and no one is currently interested...
They kick us out the league and start the ball rolling on 15-20 legal battles that will rule the off-the-field dynamic for the next 12-24 months? Not a chance. I hate the postering on both sides and these 'deadlines' that are doing nothing more but generating unrest from all different angles.
The three 'bidders' for the club clearly can't be that interested in the club considering the state of play which is worrying. Whoever comes in now will always have to answer to why it took so long, why didn't they get it done sooner and perhaps helped finance the club to a stronger battle against relegation. If we take -15 point deduction again next season, on top of relegation, how many people are going to turn up to games? I could see crowds below 15,000 for sure.
Obviously, all the above is just a bleak hypothetical at this point, but honestly part of me is just tired with the situation. We aren't football supporters anymore, we're carers for a deteriorating club that once upon of time allowed us to support and dream of what could be. I feel a sense of duty to the players who have stuck around, a love for the club based on previous eras but the EFL and the current state of the club has drained a ton of love out of the sport for me that I realistically don't feel will return - and part of me will always be bitter for this era. Mel, Gibson (not Mel Gibson), the bald Wycombe tosspot, the EFL, the CONSTANT narrative around finances in football... it's a grim reality of what being a Derby fan has become.

It might be bloody-minded of me, but if Quantuma have (finally) been allowed to name a PB - after the EFL & Boro blocked it for 2 months, IMHO in a calculated fashion, and caused squad decimation and the prospect of liquidation, I'd be minded to decline the EFL bustards.
I hope the fan groups demand a prompt approval of the PB. And an apology.
The EFL fudged and farted their way along the transfer window, on strings manipulated by Gibson, until the damage was done and last-ditch interventions via MPs etc were required.
Maybe the EFL are now conscious of the attention that will turn upon themselves and they want to 'make friends' with fan groups perceived to be capable of wielding influence over the DCFC fanbase. No anti-EFL petitions, please, look how we solved it for you!
Parry & Co can burn in hell.

If nothing else, this should finally prove what was holding up the announcement of a PB. Was it the Boro claim, or have the Admins, as Gibson insists, been dragging their feet? If we don't see movement in the next week or so, I think the pressure on the Admins will really ramp up
