1of4 got a reaction from Dale The Ram in Bielik at Brum
As much as I'd like him to sign a new contract with us, I doubt that will happen and he'll become a free agent at the end of his present contract.
The best we can probably hope for is that he has a good world cup and we get some money for him in the January transfer window.

Is net zero garbage? No.
Is a political time scale set to achieve net zero possible? Yes. Will it be achieved? No. Even most of the politicians that claim to be pro net carbon zero, aren't fully committed to it. It's just another policy that they say they support, to get enough votes to keep their cushy job.

The lack of green coloured pastilles in a packet of Rowntree's fruit pastels. Can often go though an entire packet and never see a single green pastille.

Going by your user name, you'd be acutley aware even with all the gas available to them from fracking, the of people Texas were freezing to death last winter. So the problem isn't necessarily the lack of available energy but the greed of the energy companies and the incompetence and corruption of politicians

Seems we're worrying about nothing, when it comes to the increase of our energy bills. We just need to buy a new kettle for 20 quid and we'll make a savings of £10 on our leccy bill over the course of a year. Good to see Johnson has a firm understanding of how the economy works.

Thatcher and her government shut down an industry that was supplying a major source of energy. But that was probably down to her not liking the people that was digging this source of energy out from under our own feet. More than any environmental issues raised from the burning of coal.
Though it would definitely be frowned upon if we were using more coal than we presently do, due to the damage it does to the environment. The environmental damage that is done by fracking is equally as bad. So it's probably best to leave both these energy sources sat under our feet and concentrate on our production of clean energy.

No thanks. But as many of our politicians are now either stupid or corrupt, like those sat in Congress. I expect we'll soon have our water sources contaminated, as is happening in the USA

Nothing wrong with Stoke. Well not since they built the A50 and made it a lot quicker to get through.

The pseudo PM as told the the country to suck up the pain of fuel price increases. When do we receive our expenses claim form. So we can claim back the cost of heating our home, the same as he and all the other MPs do.

Why do I feel as if I'm watching an online blog rather then a show from a major tv company. Who chose the music that's being used? Every time I hear it when they come back from a commercial break, I'm expecting Cagney and Lacey to appear.

Is it luck that gets us through all the crap that live can throw at us?
Luck may have had an influence. I'll put it more down to shear bloody mindedness on my part, for where I am today

Yep, stood on a sunny Pop Side to witness that fine win, got the programme somewhere in the attic.
I would have missed it as I was due to have my tonsils out that week, thankfully the operation was delayed for a week.

Unless we have a major injury crisis, this squad with the addition of an experienced right back could probably manage this season. Though I would like us to get another central striker, one with experience of playing in this league.

Well, obviously not. You'd hope that lessons would have been learned from those days, and equally lessons learned from the days since when private interests have milked our utilities for profit at the expense of things like general maintenance.
I had an uncle who worked for the council maintaining the sewers/water supply back before privatisation, and they had a full team of people who would be out every day checking and maintaining the infrastructure.
Then Severn Trent took it on and realised they could make bigger profits by not having that team/work schedule and just having a smaller pool of people who went out and fixed stuff only when it broke. Hence now when a water main bursts we all go without water for 24-48 hours while they work on mending it. Good for them - not so good for us
But back to your point, things are very different now in terms of IT and modernisation, so a nationalised service couldn't fail to be far more efficient.
Nonetheless - even in the scenario you paint above, at least there were people in employment, and public money was being paid into their pockets, which they would spend in the local economy. As opposed to all the public money being funnelled slowly into Tax Havens

What ever we get it will probably be less than what Place might get in fees when they loan him to a Championship club for the next couple of years.
