Lower league small club manager with tactics to match, this job is too big for him.

The service Collins gets is crap though and he spends most the game chasing nothing balls and closing down passes. He could do more with some chances but if he was that clinical he wouldn't be in league one. Telegraphed crosses that centre backs can read all day isn't going to cut it for him to get a big tally.

Not sure Warne saying he didn't want to compete in midfield with a team that hadn't even scored a goal this season is helping keep things calm. I think if we didn't have an unbeaten run going there'd be more pressure on Clowes to start looking around. Personally if I was Clowes i'd be looking for more considering the size of club, budget and time he's had to make changes, playing lower league style football on this relative budget is very frustrating.

I suggest you rethink your priorities. 

Actually think Embleton will be a decent signing in this league.

Personally thought it was smart, stopped them getting any momentum. Teams are gonna do it at our place all season.

Appreciate the honesty really, very apparent he's had targets and we've missed out on quite a few when he's had his hopes up. If he came out and said everything was rosey I think that'd be far more frustrating.

I feel bad now after joking about Max's open net miss, on the highlights you can see the keeper got his fingertips to it and changed the path of the cross. He had a good game though along with Collins, worked well together.
