Ram@Lincoln got a reaction from Mucker1884 in Parking tickets issued in the South car park.
Agreed, it's not worth the DET getting involved. For me, the issue is sorted. For the others with tickets, I hope they manage to get theirs cancelled too. It does seem a confusion between the club and council, I just hope it's clarified for the weekend. As said, I've written to the council asking for clarification so fingers crossed get it in time. If I do, I'll post it here.

Think boro away was terrible, Blackburn another. He had great ones like west norm at home, think was his debut. But the bad ones were that bad made it like playing with ten. He definitely needs to be a lot more positive and play more centrally.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to DerbyRevolution in Thank you Mr Clowes.
It would be nice to hear from David Clowes even if it's just a 5 minute RamsTV interview in the week before the opening day.
Is this something in the pipeline @Owen87ITK ? and if so it would be good to pass on the thanks of thousands of Derby fans!

I’d like as many pundits and publications as possible to give that sort of safe answer. Lowers expectations and will keep us under the radar longer.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to May Contain Nuts in Liam Rosenior
Is it just my inagination or is the club engaging more with local media now? Seen things mentioned as being said in Derbyshire Live articles that don't correspond to other interviews, and the above is Rosenior (hope we drop the Rosie stuff tbh, unless he gets an assistant named Jim!) talking directly to Radio Derby outside of a match day?
(I'm guessing, maybe these are just taken from the usual sources?)

Ram@Lincoln reacted to archram in Season Tickets 2022-23
After much anguish I’ve decided not to renew my season ticket. Although my first game was nearly 70 years ago, due to finances and distance I’ve only had a season ticket for 4 seasons. I’m so pleased I managed it for at least a short time.
My health now means I can’t manage the train to Derby from Bristol and back in a day. When I do come to matches it’ll mean staying several days with my daughter and going to games with my son and granddaughters. I can’t always manage this and the expense of season ticket plus train fares is now too much for me.
However, I’ll be there v Oxford with my son and 3 of the kids - in spite of difficulty getting my son’s ticket as they said he was 122 years old so couldn’t purchase an adult ticket!
It’s been a rough old time for the club but I feel things are on the up and I’ll be at PP as often as I can.

Stearman will not start a single game at right back this season.

I wouldn't bother. This poster seems to have a agenda against Sibley.
Thought they both did okay cosidering they were only on the pitch for 15 minutes, Stretton a little unfortunate not to score.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Matchday Thread v Hertha Berlin (H) 16th July 16:00
C’mon @RoyMac5, as neither of them scored 5 minute hat tricks or smashed in a screamer from 45 yards in only their second pre-season outing, they are therefore clearly terrible…. ?
I thought Stretton linked play well a couple of times, once was straight after he came on if I recall correctly. Be good to see more of him and Sibley in the next game.

Except Stretton nearly scoring and doing really well holding the ball up, and Sibley looking lively and setting up Stretton. Yeah, okay.

Fozzy has the armband, btw. Surely that contract has to come soon?

It's so good to be back on the forum and reading discussions about teams and football again. I read all the above comments and I feel like I've arrived back in my football home!! ☺️

Quantuma reduced the width so it was cheaper to mow.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Ambitious in Wiil you be disappointed if we finish outside the top 2???
I think it’s ignorant to be expecting Top 2, but you would have to expect to be in the top 6 considering the squad we’ve put together and the players coming in will be very much expecting that of themselves anyway.

Ram@Lincoln got a reaction from GermanRam in James Collins - Signed for 2 years
A goal is a goal, whether it's a tap in or a wonder hit from 30 yards, it's still worth the same on the scoreboard. If a striker is consistently scoring and getting us 20 plus goals I'm sure nobody will be concerned about them. In League One as has been proven over and over, teams that go up have a proven goalscorer in the 20's and someone else in the teens, a 40 goal return from two players. If Collins can be that main man great, I'm not complaining.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Carnero in New signings, who will be first...and next?
The love for Wisdom came from when he was here on loan in 2013/14 and was bloody excellent.
Unfortunately the 2017/18 Wisdom wasn't a patch on the 2013/14 version.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Dimmu in New signings, who will be first...and next?
To everyone who is wondering what's going on with Forsyth's contract situation, I've heard we are waiting his application to become Irish citizen to be finalized first.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Rev in Ali Koiki - Signed for Northampton
Gives away too many free kicks and penalties, due to his poor technique.
He puts his left leg in, then pulls his left leg out, in, out, in, out, shakes it all about.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to DanS1992 in Liam Rosenior
Smart move this. I like how we are taking our time instead of thrashing out a 3 year deal. IMO Liam shouldn't get the job based on his appreciated tireless efforts to get the team ready, but based on results. This will allow us to see if he has what it takes, if it works, then great, we can hand him the deal as permanent manager then, of not, then is saves us sacking him, thus costing us a load of money.
Finally, it seams like the club is making level headed and smart decisions. Anyway come on Liam, we are all behind you, make this job yours, I really hope you do, there is not a nicer bloke in football ?

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Derbados in Liam Rosenior
Most important part of that statement is -
“As with every aspect of the club, David Clowes and his team are taking their time to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the football side, and to consider all structural options”
to me that reads, we don’t want to commit to giving an untested manager a 2 year contract etc when finances are the most critical they’ve ever been. If he smashes it, we’ll reconsider, if he falters then we may look to bring in a DOF / someone more experienced to help him out or just replace him. I.e continually review the structure to ensure optimal results.
I think it’s very clever and sensible

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Bald Eagle's Barmy Army in Liam Rosenior
The club used to get hammered for making the wrong decisions - now they're taking the time to try and make the right decision, they are still getting hammered.
I think they are right to see how it goes - he's never managed before and this could go wrong with a guy on a 2/3 year contract.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Ghost of Clough in Liam Rosenior
More like a "we don't want to rush into making a decision. We'll give him a few games to show he's capable of stepping up first."
