Definitely be on board with Fozzy starting tonight, Roberts had a rough time for me and struggled. I haven't seen anything of his distribution to the forward areas, Fozzy showed his evergreen ability of delivering a killer cross vs Mansfield for the first goal. As already said, Shrewsbury will be big and physical in our faces, Roberts is a fine footballer but for now I'd take experience.

I think the main issue here is not that the referee or 4th official didn’t see this incident, but that you were the only one in the 26k+ who did. 

I’m not saying it didn’t happen but it seems like you were the only one out of 26,000 that saw it.
 

Ah yes, two players coming together in a 50/50 to compete for the ball. Nothing in it. Collins unlucky not to score. 

I think these two are going to turn out to be the stars of this season. Already seem to have an understanding.
Keep these two fit, get Collins scoring, and this season could turn into one of the best for many a year.

The foul on Mendez Laing on the touchline was as clear a yellow card as you'll ever see, the opponent didn't even have the opportunity to try and disguise his intention,  just took him out off the ball.

Would love to know why that Barnsley player who rolled round for 5 minutes with a trainer then didn’t have to go off to come back on. Even after Hourihane pointed it out to the ref. Utterly bizarre league one refs are. 

I heard that, but certainly didn’t interpret what he said in that negative way. I think you might be over analysing things a bit and looking for ‘issues’ that really aren’t there. Sorry. 

Don't all the American teams have to publicly release exactly how much each player gets paid and what they bought them for? If so we'll no doubt quickly see what the deal is all about.

We don't sing original songs. 
We just adapt whatever Manure/England/Liverpool are singing at the time. 
Hence we sing, or have in the recent past, about a teenage defender having a massive appendage, going on the piss with the straight laced Philip Cocu, and an Allez song that just fades away on the last line because no one's quite nailed the last line in our new circumstances. 
Keep trying, for sure, but don't expect a song from the Brian Clough favourites compilation to make the cut.

How long is this lad signed up for? If it’s only a year that get him signed up for a second year now!! Outstanding prospect! Holding midfielder, too good on the ball to waste him at centre half. Lots of similarities to Bielik. First time I’ve seen him tonight and was best player on the pitch first half.

Squad is short in a couple of areas. We need some depth. Another right back is essential, another keeper, another wide player and if we’re being greedy another centre forward. But with the exception of the keeper and maybe the right back think we can address with loans. With the squad turnover and starting preseason two weeks after everyone else we were always going to start slow. I’m actually surprised at just how on the pace we are considering all of the above and that makes me hopeful that by late September early October we’ll hit our straps and be a real force in the division.
Seen the stat on Twitter that Collins has had more shots than any other player in the league in first 2 games, all inside the box, he’s already had one cleared off the line and hit the post. Works his socks off. It took Steve Howard 8 games to score, Collins will get 20+, I have every confidence based on what he’s done so far.

Really enjoyed Martin Fisher and Jamie Ward on RD commentary - both very intelligent and entertaining football analysts / commentators. Jamie Ward clearly keeps tabs on Derby and is up with all the fans opinions & talking points. Great analysis of Louie Sibley & advocating Sibbo to start  V Barnsley. 

I think tonight's win was important, it was an away win. The more the lads win away, erases last years away form. Collins will be fine, I've been impressed by him so far. Now if he wasn't getting into position or having no chances, your argument would still be too early.

This is only a guess but I think if we really get behind Collins, that could give him the confidence to go and do good things for the club.

He’s had chances, yes plural, cleared off the line, hit the post and now had one disallowed for off-side.  That’s nothing to do with bottling it.  Howard, Hulse, Martin all had slow starts.
If you’re referring to Jamie Ward on RD I think you might find he was saying it in jest and bemoaning his luck rather than serious criticism.
