 I know they cause havoc to some but a fox has never done me harm and I love seeing them.

Little gesture from the club to one of our supporters who has been very ill in hospital all month with Covid-19. 
Thankfully, she sounds like she is on the mend now.

It probably wasn't so much the actual shooting, but the fact it was a sawn-off and he had a mk ll Jag on the drive?

It’s so frustrating seeing the talent we’ve got in the squad but not seeing them playing to their potential.
We need a manager like McClaren who can put an arm round players and convince them they can be brilliant with a few small adjustments.
Byrne being told he’s getting too close to his man so he can be beaten on the inside. Clarke having the confidence to play the pass he wants to play, not the safe one. Wisdom being aware of what’s behind him. Te Wierik being reminded why he was brought here. Knight being told he can score us ten a season if he times his runs well. Shinnie being encouraged to shoot more. Sibley being told a one-two is better than trying to run through defenders and will get him the shooting opportunities he craves. Lawrence being reassured that hard work will reap rewards. Waghorn being told to look up so he will know whether to shoot or pass. Forwards being told to get close to Jozwiak, who time and time again beats his man only to find himself isolated.
And everyone being told:
    to relax when they cross the ball, not hit it as hard as they can - also that we don’t have anyone who can head the ball, so a         drag back is not such a bad idea (see Knight above)
    that scoring a goal is the greatest feeling that they should all want and to think where they should be to achieve that (I would suggest standing still between two defenders is not optimal for that outcome)

The last couple of times mine went beyond 6 weeks, I dropped Kurt a quick reminder - and hey presto, it moved within a couple of days. I've got 3 orders outstanding with them - I'm hoping that I get them before Christmas, but no big deal really. I've decided 'bugger the expense', and will get 12 x 75 cl bottles of Straffe Tripel and 6 x 75 cl Straffe Quad from De Halve Maan anyway. It still only works out at around £7 a bottle, even with the nearly €40 delivery charge.

Ahh. I used to love old Compo.

i went to the corner gas station to pick up some smokes.  There's a lady who works there who is on amicable terms with me, we have a little chat every time we meet.  She asked me why i don't buy my smokes cheaper from the Polish stores, or somewhere.  So i can chat with you, was my reply.  She smiled so wide that i could see it through her mask and told me that i just made her day.
It's not hard to brighten up another soul's day, or ruin it.  i used to do too much of the latter, but am practicing the former.
