The costs of demolition would be significant and can’t see it being worth it for a few low value industrial sheds (really can’t see it ever going for housing for various reasons and the market for massive supermarkets is long gone).

Agreeing to pay them off would be the end of the football league as an entity. The competition would have no integrity and on a practical level, who's going to do stuff like referee games in an environment where some chancer could throw a lawsuit at you for wrongly awarding a corner etc?

He's British, a Billionaire, has experience as a football club owner, has a good track record buying companies out of administration.
It means no mysterious behind the scenes money men, no owners from countries with dubious human rights records, no debt or leveraged buyout.

Newcastle fans are delusional when evaluating Ashley’s tenure. I am genuinely perplexed when they say he never ‘invested’ in the club:

The way he ran Newcastle enabled them to attract their new owners as they are in a position of stability and attract wealthy investors thanks to the way he ran their club. Same will probably happen at West Ham.

On a side note, glad Kirchner is out the picture. Ridiculous how he declared his intentions early and made it public when he did. Clearly couldn’t match rival bidders and tried to convince us that it was the administrators not him. He couldn’t admit he wasn’t the preferred choice. From the start I knew it wouldn’t work out given how he behaved and the way Derby fans were swooning over him was embarrassing!

A permanent DCFC museum is quite frankly, a waste of time and money. Which is why it hasn’t been done. 
how many people would visit it when it opens? Let’s be generous and say every Derby fan will go so the capacity of Pride park. Plus their families, so 90k? How many realistically outside of the Derby fan base will go once? Hardly any. A few football nerds. 
once you’ve been once, you’re not likely to go again. 
 
a much better idea is to do pop-up exhibitions every so often in line with major events in the past. Keep it fresh and evolving rather than the same stuff in the same places

It is an interesting debate - do we try for a cup run and any additional funding this might provide or concentrate on the league and basically give up on the cup? 
Personally think we are probably down whatever heroics we will try (valiantly of course), so might as well go down swinging in all competitions and make as much as we can. 
It might of course be moot because we might well lose to Coventry away whether we play our strongest team or not.
