If I was buying a football club, going to the games is the minimum amount of research I’d be doing. He wanted to get a feel of the club and that’s the only way he can do it.

Would you want a new owner that hasn’t done as much due diligence as possible?

If so, shall we move onto the next game?
We are all disappointed in the last couple of games, but having read about sacking Rooney, players not caring, players giving up, our recruitment is awful, we are definitely down  even down without a points reduction in the last 24 hours, it's time to regroup and be realistic.
Rooney wasn't the best manager in the Championship 4 games ago and he isn't the worst now. What we do have is a thin squad mainly made up of veterans and youngsters. We started yesterday's game with half of our outfield players aged 34 to 39. With the new manager bounce they played a high tempo and we got overrun. We look tired and are ready for the international break.
Are we going down? We are certainly up against it. There are so many variables, admin points appeals, ffp appeals and takeovers and that's before we get to what happens on the pitch. I think the players are giving their all and until the Blackburn game, so were the fans. These are trying times and we need to stick together and stay optimistic. We need to still be in the fight when the New Year comes. By then we should know more about points deductions, new owners and transfer capabilities.
If we get deducted 21 points, there is little hope, but we can't give up yet. Every point is vital and every fans support is too. I hope that our fans recent negativity doesn't transmit to the games. so let's all dust ourselves down and keep supporting our great club as best we can.
I don't know if we can manage this great escape but if we do, it will take the collective will of all of us.

Honestly not seen too much of him but what I have leaves me wondering could he make a decent CDM energy, quick to close down, can pass and those driving runs?
obviously a bit of training but I think he has potential in that role
     any thoughts?

Yeah he should've played in Knight in the first half but other than that I thought he was very good and our control of the game evaporated when he was subbed off.  Can't wait to see him & Beilik in the same midfield

Dirty tricks campaign started by another club in the North East and their Chairperson,  in cahoots with a North Korean hacking group, officials from the “let’s get Derby” secret cadre inside the sports ruling body. (Who we all know are tapping up refs to give yellow cards ) AND Steve McLaren who wants his real job back. It has also been mentioned by reliable sources that a German centre back is a bit miffed at how well Curtis and Jags are playing thus blocking his dream move to the sun soaked playground that is the East Midlands.

I do hope that Nixon is wrong about this, for a number of reasons :
    1) I don't think you have a hope in hell of winning. Wigan tried this argument and got  short shrift. And there was a much stronger causal link between their problems and COVID than you can argue
    2) if you are citing COVID as the primary argument, it's just not true, is it? The decisions that led to your current situation may have been compounded by COVID, but they weren't caused by it
    3) this just plays into the "Gibson" argument (for want of a better phrase), that seeks to depict you as a club trying to wriggle off a hook instead of accepting you have been caught fair and square. Whether it is fair or not is a separate issue - it just LOOKS really bad. I can understand that goodwill is not your main worry though
As a Blackpool fan who has a vested interest in all this, I sympathise with those of you who just wants this resolved, along with Reading and anyone else who is in the dock for these sorts of offence. Lots of people outside your fan base feel the same way.
The EFL are supposed to be fighting for their lives at the moment, and trying to make themselves seem relevant in the context of the fan led review.  This dithering, with all the opacity that goes with it, is not fair on any of us. Hopefully, it will be fatal for them, because they long ago forfeited the right to run the competitions they are responsible for.

Do you imagine that relegation, which you seem to be advocating, wouldn't result in even more job losses, nor threaten the future existence of the club?
The blasé way in which some fans seem to want the Club/Administrators to simply roll over and accept whatever punishment the EFL want to mete out, in some cases mainly (it seems) because they're "bored with it all" is quite staggering.
Unlike Wigan, DCFC's case is based on a full season of heavily impacted revenues. The argument that the owner could simply have made up the difference, or that he shouldn't have allowed the club to get into financial difficulties in the first place doesn't negate the impact of the pandemic.
I expect it to fail, because such a precedent is the last thing the EFL would want, but I'm pleased they're willing to try it, if only to keep our season alive.

Mike Ashley isn’t stupid enough to leap out of a frying pan and straight into a fire. Newcastle fans were harsh in their treatment of him imho. They have always been a nothing of a club with amazing support and always will be. It doesn’t matter how much money they have. The worlds best players will never live in Newcastle. They may get to top 4/5 but no higher. If he came to Derby( he won’t) but we should  consider ourselves extremely fortunate indeed. Don’t kid ourselves. We are a basket case of a club and should be happy to even be linked with a bloke of his proven business acumen

I would like to see a new owner that ain't a fan. A businessman who has a good record of making money with some connections to sports. A football club should be run like a business. Make sound investments and planning to grow step by step. Too much emotion could hurt a club. People tend to grow love their businesses so there would be enough emotion that way.

It’s the influence their reintroduction can have on everybody else though.
With Bielik back you can tweak the midfield and let him do all of Shinnie’s job and some of Bird’s (cropping people and progressing the ball).
You can push whichever of the latter pair you decide to play ten/twenty yards further up the pitch and also have Ravel stay further up the pitch rather than dropping deep.
Then with everybody further up the pitch you’d also have them playing off Kazim.

You’d probably have to keep a full-back back though, I suppose, or even with Bielik sitting you’re gonna have the back two exposed.
