Very highly regarded there and has been touted as a natural successor to Hodgson when he eventually calls it quits.
Palace reportedly knocked back an approach from Oxford before they appointed Liam Manning last season.
Would rather go down this route (See Ipswich and Kieran McKenna) than another Warnock type.

I understand that when the football isn’t pretty, and the league position is dire, football fans will inevitably lash out. However, I am amazed that there are a good number on here tonight slating our owner. This is a staggering state of affairs even for our club, only some 15 months since he saved us.  Cool it down lads.

Ipswich recognized it just wasn’t working under Paul Cook - a manager with a decent reputation and who many thought would get Ipswich going. It just never worked out for him there.
Paul Warne isn’t a bad manager. But what he is trying here just won’t work. The fans won’t accept it. Technical footballers won’t accept it. We have to get rid and bring in a manager who will look at our better players and play to their strengths.
Getting rid of Liam Rosenior was an awful lack of judgement.
Keeping Warne would be even worse.

Big Trav knows when someone is at the training ground. That, I believe. But he’s started making many other statements which based on the source of his knowledge, makes zero sense. Knows budgets and potential of players staying/going apparently. 

Everyone likes a genuine ITK Trav, and you clearly have a good source in/from the media team, such that you can give very reliable info when the pictures are in the can. All very useful and appreciated, usually breaking the news a few hours before official confirmation.
However, I am sorry, but based on your other reporting of potential targets, negotiations, etc., I think you have been well wide of the mark, sufficiently wide enough I would say to suggest you know bugger all. You have frequently picked up on newspaper and social media gossip and ran with some of it, using your ‘finisher’ reputation to give your pronouncements credibility. I doubt your success rate has been any higher than I or others might have achieved if we were so disposed to regurgitate such gossip as fact. Not being snarky, just giving you my honest assessment and opinion.

I’m calling it that Big Trav has no idea at all the majority of the time, and he has you lot on strings. He though is a mate, or a mate of a mate, of who does the club media and photos and updates Trav when the photos are in the can. As for Simmo, my dog has more idea what is going on. And she is deaf and senile.
