AGR got a reaction from Andicis in Keogh Sacked
What happened to the other two is irrelevant in my eyes (but clearly not in the eyes of the tribunal) - They were fined by the club and punished accordingly in the courts. It still doesn't sit well with me that they played away at Barnsley two games later but I've got over it.
Keogh was offered a taxi paid for by Derby County
Refused and got a lift in his mates car knowing he was drunk
    Didn't wear a seatbelt
    Crashed and got injured
Was unable to carry out the works in his contract
Was very kindly offered £5k a week to sit at home and recover and rehabilitate with the club
Refused and was sacked. (Rightly in my eyes)
The fact that he has sued the club that paid him so handsomely for 8 years, in the middle of a pandemic sums the bloke up.
I'd have like to have thought that Mel and Pearce did the due diligence before sacking him but we already know they are incapable of running a football club.
What angers me so much about this is Keogh's lack of remorse and that he doesn't see that he was in the wrong at all. His thick as pig muck agent said as much on Talksport at the time and his wife changed her instagram bio to "married to a professional scapegoat". He got offered £5k a week to rehabilitate for free with the club which was brought about because of poor decisions he made whilst drunk on a team bonding night for heavens sake!!
If I was Mel I would send an Eddie Stobart round to Keogh's filled with 1ps and 2ps to pay him.
I cannot wait to for Huddersfield at home (and away if possible) next season to give Captain Calamity the reception he deserves.

Was just about to say the same. Think he had been on loan at Swindon and not done great. Was massively underwhelmed when we signed him and cried myself to sleep when he let him go.

Sorry, but has to be said.......Chris Martin.  I honestly thought he was a bit of a donkey when he first joined on loan.  The rest is history as he was a key part of some of the best football I’ve seen from a Derby team since the Jim Smith era.

Curtis Davies: Plays with a serious injury against medical advice to keep us in the Champ.
Richard Keogh: Goes on a team bonding night out, has way too much to drink to the point he has no idea what's going on, gets injured. Rejects the clubs reduced offer and sues for 2.3 million.
    Two polar opposites.
Give him the reception he deserves at Pride Park next season.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere over the weekend that the latest date a points deduction can be imposed on the 2020/21 season was sometime in March - or have I imagined that?

I think we should stick with Rooney through the summer.
    Hear me out. Please.
The season has been the worst I can remember as a Derby fan. Rooney came in and managed to make us solid for a good run before injuries and confidence got sapped away. Add to that all the disruption in the boardroom and EFL stuff and it’s been a real baptism of fire.
I believe that he can learn from these lessons and all the teams start at 0 points (hopefully) next season and have 46 games to strive or survive. His tactics have been condemned most recent match days, but the squad has been bare bones for the run in.
Changing manager will take time and it won’t help us rebuild our squad, which is the priority right now. Rooney has the contacts and the name to draw in better players than our league position deserves. The Waghorn interview after the match leads me to believe that the players still believe in him.
Getting rid of Rooney will Also cost money that is better off used on the squad. Let him sign some players to build a better squad, give him some games next season to get some results. If things start terribly and don’t improve then we can get rid.
No one will be expecting us to transform and be a top 6 side next season, so let’s try and get some stability back in the coaching team.

Wednesday should had a 12 point deduction as they were found guilty.
