  1. Clearly McGee for whatever reason wasn’t signing a new contract at FGR and they are probably looking to save money towards their pending relegation. Ferguson probably has a blank sheet to build his own side and just like Warne, wouldn’t want anyone aboard who doesn’t want to be there.
I would think that the reason it’s loan is to keep any permanent signing off this seasons Accounts and also gives Warne a few months to validate his thoughts on a permanent deal in the summer - we need cover now Anang has gone - it suggests this works for all parties for the time being.

  2. As much as Martin has a historical affinity with the club and fans, he wouldn’t add anything to the current squad and trying to infuse him into our team and style of play would be a huge negative - so thanks, but no thanks ??

  3. Dennis was a good man by and a too lad - A true gentleman and the communities he lived in lived him - he looked out for anyone and everyone and nothing was too much if he could help people out. Not everyone saw this side of him and many focused on his notoriety in other aspects. A genuine lovable rogue,  I considered him my friend and he will be dearly missed by so many people who’s life he touched.
Rest in peace big man ??

  4. I think that post the Administration notification and the materialisation of what MM had been up to, fans rightly or wrongly assumed that Stephen Pearce was complicit to MM’s misdemeanours. I think that people need to understand that SP was an employee and followed the directives of MM  - yes I accept that SP could and possibly maybe should have leaked what was going on, but for all we know he may have had to sign none disclosure contracts which were legally binding m.
Anyway, the fact that Mr Clewes retains SP’s employment suggests that SP is very much valued by the owner and may not be the person that many assumed he was.
We’ll probably never know the full details ,but if Mr Clewes values Stephen Pearce as a valuable member of the Clubs Management Team, then that’s good enough for me. ??

  5. If you’ve got an older iPhone that set on  4G the signal gets completely overloaded. A cheat trick is to change your 4G down to 3G as not many people are on 3G and it works perfectly - it’s all about how many people are trying U.K. use the same 4G  band width.

Trust me you signal will be great when clogged down to 3G. ivd been doh g this for 3 a few seasons, yes 3G is slightly slower than 4G, but that’s much better than not getting anything in 4G.
    if you’re on 5G it’s fine anyway.

  6. People forget that we’ve been absolutely awful playing away for 3 years playing this style of football - nothing will change until we stop playing this style of football in away matches.
it hasn’t worked in the past, doesn’t work now and will never work in the future !!!

it’s very simple really, the manager needs to change the style of football, or we need to change the manager,,,,,,, it’s that simple !!!!

We had this argument before, and we ended up adjusting to play Tom Lawrence up front and it worked. I'd trust any of McGoldrick, Dobbin, Sibley or Barkhuizen to take up that role. I'd wager that a more mobile player in that role will encourage defenders to try and win it higher up the pitch and leave space for them to run into.

Maybe Collins is the only "number nine" we have, but what does that mean? He's not winning his battles right now, he's not all that tall or strong, he's not applying the finishing touch. Almost anyone could do equal or better right now.

I know that's harsh but it's the way it is. I believe he'll come good but let's not kid ourselves, it's not just bad luck that's stopping him, he's not playing well at all. He needs a rest

I tend to disagree with much of your take,  but that’s the beauty of ‘opinions’ and everyone can have differing ones.
I believe Collins is working very hard, his build up play and distribution to others aground him is very good. He’s a handful and draws defenders to have to mark him closely. I agree he should have bagged a few already and on occasion his decisions and execution have not been as good as you’d expect with his record. There’s also the fact that varying goalkeepers have made some unbelievable saves from him m, he’s had efforts cleared off the line and hit the woodwork too. I think it’s becoming a confidence issue for him and it could be even be argued he’s trying so hard m, maybe too hard. All strikers go through lean spells and he is no different, but his lean spell he’s going through has been from the offset. I really don’t like crowds turning on players, but Derby fans seem to have been doing thus to certain players so over the last few years m, we’ll slot longer than that if I’m honest - it doesn’t help anyone, either the player m, the team or improve things. I don’t think anyone can fault Collins effort and input and I hope he turns the corner very soon. His goal scoring history is good and I think that will return, but I accept his scoring form and confidence is clearly not good presently.
I’ll go with the manager and if he thinks he should be in the side, they’ll do for me - if he takes him out the side or used him differently, I’ll also go with that too.
I think Collins will come good ??

  8. I’ve followed Derby home and away to every game in the last 30 years (last 20 years as a disabled supporter) Unfortunately I am on the ‘at risk list’, due to suppressed immune system, re Covid, so last season I only attended 3 away games at the larger grounds, where I knew from previous experience I could assure myself decent proximity distance to others supporters.  This season although I have renowned my Away Membership, the fact that so many Grounds are of such low capacity, or have so few disabled facilities, together with the fact I did not attend sufficient Away games last season to access the Ticket Purchase Bandings dates means that all tickets are sold before I can attempt to purchase a ticket.  Am I disappointed, hell yes, but there is nothing I can do about it, so I have to accept the situation of being a supporter of a hugely supported big team in a Division that can not cater for large Away followings. I’m gutted, but it is what it is.
I’m hoping that somehow we can get promoted this season back to The Championship, where there are larger and better facilities for us disabled supporters.
    I still remain DTID !! ??
