I think the idea to send him to the sun, us to give him a good suntan to make him invisible on the grassless PP pitch

No worries - I’m happy with it.
It will add to my collection of items handed down to me by my late Grandfather and the other items I’ve obtained myself.

It is hallmarked with the correct year, maker and gold/silver stamps. It has been heavily polished, but can make out the Club Initisks on it. Considering its 135 years old and a reasonable assumption that probably only eleven were commissioned for the game, it could probably be the only one thats survived.

I came across and acquired this hallmarked gold & silver Derby County Player Medal in last few days from an Antique Emporium in Yorkshire.
Providence confirms it was made in 1886 in Birmingham. Derby County only played 2 games in 1886 against Aston Unity and Birmingham St Georges in the FA Cup and these medals were presented to the Derby County players in recognition of the match.
A very rare find indeed and I’m thrilled to have found it.
I thought I’d share it as a point of interest. ??

Festy reminds me so much of Antonio of West Ham, but before he changed to an out and out striker.
He’s also got a bit of Adama Traore about him too.
if he can emulate them, we’ll have some player on our hands - that’s if we can get him signed in an extended contract ??- Raich Carter, Premier ram and Jortat

I skim through my work whilst busy checking on the Rams news.
Even so I am thoroughly confused by the MSD situation. Don't Derby have a loan from MSD of £20m. SO how is an offer of £28 million going to lead us out of insolvency? Other debts about £40m. Some of them genuine football debts. So don't all creditors get less than 25%? Can't imagine HMRC being happy with that. That loan owed to MSD is MM’s loan personally, as he owns Pride Park and not part of the sale of the club.

That’ll be Jimbob, Mary Ellen, Corabeth, Grandma and Reckless the ducking Mule then !! ?

David, that makes absolute sense and you have succinctly navigated rules perfectly - I hope you have forwarded this to the Administrators, who can instruct their Legal Team to take the necessary action against the EFL.
Once again, thank you ?

Great record. ??
shame you’ve given it a miss this time.
My own personal highlights were the commons FA cup and 10 men matches. (Obviously.) Back in the 4000 allocation era.
That Cup game was a brilliant night 2 nil down so very early on and they gave Commons absolute dogs abuse - when he hit the winner we went absolutely mental and there was not a finer way for Commons to stick it to them - the place emptied in a few minutes - such vile fans !!

I’ve not missed an away game at the Shitty ground since I started supporting DCFC in 1980, but I’ve decided to give it a miss this season - I’m getting on now and I’m not prepared to have piss thrown down on me and spat at from above any more. Enough is enough !!
I’ll be watching from home and hope we batter them !! ?? -
I think Sibley is pretty much where Bird was 2+ years ago and he needs to take on board the advice he’s been, work on it, buckle down and come up with the goods he’s been told to concentrate on. That’s exactly what Bird did and has come in loads and has become a nailed on starter.
Sibley needs to get his head down and work harder and prove to the manager and himself that he should be in the first team.
He’ll either buckle down and become the player we all think he can be, or he’ll move on and try elsewhere - it’s up to Sibley himself really ?- DCFC1388, RoyMac5 and Premier ram

I think Ashley would be a good fit for Derby - I take no notice of what Newcastle fans think, as they are absolutely deluded to think that Newcastle Utd is a huge Football Club - yrs it’s a huge club in the North East, but on a National level, that’s just ludicrous. Ashley took a financial sink hole of a club and made it financially very stable and sold it for a huge profit . Newcastle Utd will never compete with the big boys, no matter how much money the Arabs throw at it - top world class players will never want to play for clubs like Newcastle, as it’s geographically negative - players will only want to ho to London, Manchester and Liverpool clubs.
Ashley would be fantastic for Derby County Football Club. He would never put us on financial jeopardy and that’s why he is a top businessman, unlike the carpet baggers we become used to in recent years.- Ramslad1992, JMC, LeedsCityRam and 17 others

A refereeing conspiracy?
in Derby County Forum
Posted
I can’t provide any proof there is any conspiracy against Derby County and it’s too easy to slip in to that conspiracy theory given our position.
what is evident though, is that refereeing standards have never been this poor and the only consistency is their continual ‘not being fit for purpose’ standard.
When you add Derby’s poor level of decision making, inability to make positive decisions when in attack, the slow laborious ‘build up play’, ease of losing possession and low ability in converting the few goal scoring chances we get - it just compounds the conspiracy theorists.
We are where we are because we aren’t actually very good at the moment - even if we got out 21pt back today, I still think we’d be looking over our shoulder and very much in a relegation fight, given our current form.
