  1. For me it has to be Fornah, Bird and Thompson as our central 3 all day long - Thompson has such energy, such tenacity and rat-ability,,,,, if he’s fit he’s first choice in my book. If we don’t he’s going to want to leave to go somewhere else to get game time and that would be an absolutely ridiculous situation to get to !!!

  2. We need to stop making excuses for the manager and his coaches. This is Warne’s team m, he put this squad together for this season.  Since he won manager of the month in I think Feb last season with a squad he inherited, we have systematically gone backwards on every level as a team and how we play - it is simply awful football to watch.  People keep saying that on paper we have a brilliant squad. Well if we have it can only be down to the manager, coaches and the tactics and style we are asking them to play.
it is simply not good enough and it’s bloody awful to watch. For Warne to say after todays match that there isn’t a lot wrong is utter b******* - there is so much wrong and if he can’t see that and can’t make the changes required to make our ‘on paper’ great squad perform to a much better standard and play a game that is positive and good to watch, then he needs to bugger off and/or be sacked.  His excuses aren’t credible and he’s mugging us off !!
I don’t like calling for managers heads, but ts getting to the point that he is just rubbing his wage !!!

  3. I probably have one of the best classic MX5 Soft Tops in the country - meticulously returned to perfect factory spec, no rot and a joy to drive in summer. Problem is I can’t get in and out of the bloody thing easily these days in my older years, so it needs a new home, needs appreciating and to be driven like the thoroughbred it is,,,,,,,,,,, just- up for sale next spring when awoken from winter hibernation 😎

  4. I think that we should utilise both defensive formations, dependent on who we are playing - horses for courses.
think that maybe for away games, when the emphasis is for the home team to come at us, we play 5 at the back, as that’s better for ‘counter attacking’ play which is our strength. Maybe we play 4 at the back for home games when the emphasis is on us taking the game to the opposition and being more attacking.
To be honest m, I don’t really care as long as it produces the points to chase a promotion spot 🤔🐏🤗

  5. I thought Mendez-Lang was utter pants today,,,,,,, maybe his head is still in Guatemala, because it certainly wasn’t with him today. He should have been taken off 25 minutes earlier and Wilson given much more time - He won’t be with us next season, so hopefully his wages can be spent on a couple of young hungry wide guys 🤔🐏

    The statement says handball.

What it doesn't say is that the red card was overturned as it wasn't actually a handball on video evidence, or whether it was overturned because the handball didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity.

If it wasn’t hand ball - it wasn’t hand ball, it’s a very simple outcome - no red card.
mid it was handball, it’s irrelevant whether a goal scoring opportunity or not, because if it’s handball be the keeper outside the box it’s an instant red card regardless of anything afterwards. If the reason for the red card was for a foul denying a clear goal scoring opportunity it could constitute a red card, but that doesn’t apply as there was a covering defender in front of the gold between keeper and goal (Bradley).
Yes the ref could have given a Yellow Card if he deduced it was a foul for the tackle, but he didn’t do that - he gave the red for hand ball and said that was the reason.
it’s just kids poor refereeing which altered the course of the match and the referee and linesman should be demoted to park football for a month !!

  7. ,,,,,,,,, may I suggest handbags at dawn for a speedy resolution to this spat gentleman,,,,,,,

I'm hoping that whatever injury Rooney has incurred, he names a speedy recovery - I'm gutted for the lad !!

I also hope Sonny Bradley's form settles down positively and he shows the form that he has shown consistently for Luton over many seasons - the last line of defence always exasperates every mistake, as it usually results in a really bad outcome. I'm not accusing his bad mistskecon sat, but I felt he had a decent game other than that glaring mistake 🤔

  8. 1Wildsmith 7 woeful sending of decision by Ref - neither a foul or handball

34Rooney 6 up to his injury

Bradley another bad mistake which cost us the game ultimately deserves 0 but 6 other than that mistake

    35Nelson 7

    3Forsyth 7

11Méndez-Laing 4 doesn’t know whether he wants a shot or a haircut - quite an unintelligent footballer.

12Smith 6 being asked to do far to much to cover for others inadequacies and mistakes

6Cashin 7 when he came on

4Hourihane 4 goal apart offers very little  - like a chocolate teapot

22Fornah 6 needs time to adjust, tired terribly, but looks like a decent prospect

20Elder 2 utter crap and I’m being generous. So off the pace, never got anywhere near anyone who he was supposed to be barking ir tackling.  His fault that cross came across for their penalty !!!

14Washington 5 little service but tried to get involved

Vickers 5 decent keeper, but I do question his positioning for their 2nd goal, even if it was deflected

10Waghorn 7 virtually no service - says everything that he was constantly in our own defence trying got help out covering

John-Jules 6 looks half decent with a trick or two. Too early to judge just yet

Collins 5 - no service but I just wish he’d stay in the middle just to put pressure on Centre Halves

Officials - utter gash !!! 2 stonewall penalties not given and needs a bloody white stick for their penalty and Whildsmiths sending off - shocking truly shocking !!!!

  9. Obviously Waggy fully deserved his MoTM for today - he was different gravy in the first half.
However Thommo was simply brilliant today from start to finish, he never stops running, is tenacious in the tackle, is tremendously strong for a little chap and he’s got a trick or two in his bag as well. He’s got that little edge to him too.
Considering he was only playing park football a couple of years back, his rise is an absolutely fabulous. There’s one hell of a player there in him and I’d be looking to get him under a much longer contract asap if possible.
im gonna stick my knock out here, but I think he brings more to the team than Knight did and will be a better player than Knight in the future.
A complete pocket rocket and I love him !! 😃🐏
