Gerry Daly Posted Friday at 13:12 Share Posted Friday at 13:12 Almost exactly the same height aren't they. Which is good. Poom was so dominating with high balls into the box but I think Z will be as good in time

Boycie Posted Saturday at 16:18 Share Posted Saturday at 16:18 Oh his kicking to a precise target is woeful at times. Surely you can’t improve that with training can you?

Surely you can’t improve that with training can you? I'd have thought it was the opposite. 🤷♂️ I'd imagine any form of concise and specific training, alongside concentrated and prolonged practice, of any skill would/should lead to improvement, be that kicking a football, hitting a golf ball in a straight line, throwing a dart at a bulls eye sized target, hanging wallpaper, pitching a tent in a storm, juggling melons and axes at the same time, or tiling a bathroom? I've been shown (aka "trained"!) how to improve every one of those, at some stage or another. Admittedly, I've only improved at one of them, but that says more about the trainee, than the trainer/training. 🤷♂️ Edited Sunday at 09:06 by Mucker1884

I was gonna come back with a really, really witty response, so my first move was to Google "Juggling melons gif". Holy moly, I really shouldn't have done that! 🤓 richinspain

I see Pooooooooom is the goalkeeping coach of the Estonian national team nowadays, who lost 0-3 to Sweden in the Nation's League on Monday. Sadly Jacob on the bench again, but his time will come. Rich3478 Posted Monday at 18:30 Share Posted Monday at 18:30 He’s excellent shot stopping wise! Just with his feet seems a bit erratic. Not too fussed personally as maybe means we keep it a bit simpler at the back. very happy with him so far! Seems worth the wait
